+1 , the aliens can spam this shit like it's neurotoxin and should be slightly easier to destroy.

If it is made easier to destroy, it should also be less costly to make. For those not aware, it costs the same amount of plasma to make a wall as it does to make sticky resin.

Re: Stick Resin Should Be Destroyable Quickly
Sticky resin costs the same as a wall or door. Might need to lower its cost if its going to be easily destroyed.

I feel like the whole point behind sticky resin is to be annoying and impede the marine's progress. Additionally clearing sticky resin is currently one of (if not the only) the few reasons for somebody to carry the flamethrower because of how trash garbage it is right now

Re: Stick Resin Should Be Destroyable Quickly
It depends on how much health it has, i seen people flamer it and some of it still stayed, but it easily came off with 1 or 3 bootknife slashes

It definitely clears it out unless they've changed something extremely recently.northcote4 wrote:Doesn't the flamethrower not clear out sticky resin?

They didn't. It's more likely RNG or the flamer doesn't have napalm inserted.Wubs4Scrubs wrote:It definitely clears it out unless they've changed something extremely recently.
You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

Re: Stick Resin Should Be Destroyable Quickly
I stand neutral. Even with bayoneted beauty, Splinter, sticky resin is a menace to my playstyle, if not, a hard counter. The way it works ensures that you can't move after you step out of the tile, but on the other hand, I'd much rather it be able to be destroyed in 4 hits with Splinter than to be as destroyable as weeds.
