Something I've been running lately which is named specifically to annoy people with how generic it is.

Specialist 'Thunder and Lightning'
Suit Slot: M83A2 (SADAR) with Mag so you can drop it in combat safely.
Back Slot: M41A Mk2 Pulse Rifle with Skeleton Stock, Reddot Sight, Barrel Charger, and Burstfire attachments.
Belt: Belt with AP mags because you're a dirty AP hog

Pros: Thunder booms then lightning strikes, Kill any non-crusher with a well placed HE + M4 to finish.
Lightning (Aka, the m4) can really mess up any T2 or T3's day, Critting t2s in a single burst if all shots hit.
Even if you run out of rockets, You can still pose a huge threat to any alien assault due to the raw firepower you can output in a short period of time. Non-elite T3s will instantly go from attacking to retreating if you peg them.
Cons: You have to carry your bag of rockets around, And people WILL steal it and go 'I FOUND ROCKETS' even if you label it
If you pull your bag around, it will set off landmines. And you will get your bones broken. Such is life.
You will quickly become Hive-Enemy numero uno. Expect to be treated as if you have a target the size of the sulaco on your face.
It goes without saying, But you're essentially relying on being able to convince the RO to give you two extra attachments. Won't always happen. Hell, technically it /shouldn't/ happen.

My favorite spec loadout:

M10 Pattern Helmet

M56 Combat Harness

Squad gloves

Combat boots + Bayonet

M56 Smartgun with quickfire , barrelcharger and burstfire.

Fill harness with zippo lighter and a tricord cigarette pack (these things save lives)

M4a3 pistol in one pocket, C4 in the other, ammo belt with 4 grenades (in case I have to suicide charge)

My medic loadout.
M10 Helmet
M3 Armor
Gloves
Combat boots
Life saving bag (not default, I remove anti-tox, Russian red, kelotone, the gauze and ointment and replace it with 6 bicard injectors and the rest with tricord.)
Backpack with advanced kit (default) and basic first aid kit (I remove everything and put in Kelotone pills, Russian red, anti-tox things and more tricord.) Also has defib and stasis bag.
Webbing with submachine gun ammo.
Submachine gun.

Pros- You never have to worry about brute from friendly fire for a long time.
Cons- None I can think of, you can still fight and heal you and your fellow marines of most damage.

FoB MT loadout.
Backpack w/food for the FoB, a metal stack or 2 for the FoB defense, and a voice analyzer/signaler combo and a tank transfer bomb hooked up to a signaler w/ the same frequency.
Toolbelt w/ tools. Duh.
Welding mask, insulated gloves, and mesons.
Brown webbing with a health analyzer, advanced bruise kit, tricord, quick-clot, and an anti-tox pill, for your standard "industrial environment" medkit. If someone's hurt bad and no one else's around, REGARDLESS OF HIS INJURIES, hit him w/both injectors and feed him the pill, then use the pack on any injuries the scanner shows. This'll deal with most injuries, and I follow the formula regardless of whether it's needed or helpful to prevent metagaming.
Hazard vest with a M4A3 and a single spare mag, for killing huggers and plinking at drones with.
Backpack with 3 tank transfer bombs and 3 signalers individually labeled in one hand. Spare backpack with pulse rifle ammo in other hand. Dragging a spare marine-med vendor.

1. Go to FoB. Place hacked vendor in FoB, empty out spare backpack of pulse rifle ammo and drop it. Drop food off.
2. Assist engi's with fortifying and give them metal. Wait.
3. Wait till xenos push the FoB. Put a bomb in a backpack. Throw it at them, or drop it near their "area of assault". Wait for the next xeno charge. Activate it. Get the mop to clean off the xenogibs. Repeat 2x.
3a. Win when marines push the weakened hive.
3b. Lose, get hugged and cuffed, realize you can STILL detonate the bomb in your backpack by voice. Kill 0-6 xenos depending on how watched you are.
3c. Lose, get rightfully slashed to death, cry.

The Close and Personal loadout, that I use as Meredith:

Shotgun with a bayonet and a stock, usually hung in the suit storage (Works very good as a mellee weapon... Crushers died under this)
A pistol with a backup magazine in the armor pouches.... For hairier times.
The bootknife for extra hairy moments
Belt filled to the brim with handfulls of shells and slugs
Backpack with two boxes of shells, two boxes of slugs, two flare pouches and a roll of gauze
Helmet with two EAT bars... And the rosary, if I am lucky enough to grab it
