Crushers can be damaged even when they're standing in one spot. It is a matter of deflection chance. Crushers are like chains, if one is inconsistent with the others then keep shooting until they bleed, because to quote Arnold Schwarzenegger;

you can do something about it.unless they're in a position where both sides are covered(if they are its highly likely its by resin walls) move to the side and get some shots at an angle. These shots hit the side where the deflection shots are a lot worse(if there's resin walls shoot them first of course)
