New Role('s)

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Basically they should add a whole new thing that would require adding like a new prep room just for them specificly, but make a new type of group called like Support or something. They would be equiped with stuff like Mortars(plz dont rape me for a new weapon suggestion or whatever), and maybe like a bigger beefier smartgun type of HHG. Also another type of support person could be a like ammo man. Also this new thing could include a new thing called 'teamwork', like say the support squad has a Support Direction or something, they pick wether they run Mortar/artillery, HHG, etc, then in order for them to use that object/weapon, they would need a ammo man, loader, person with binocs to get range and stuff. HHG be kinda same with a ammo man, loader, gunner, and maybe another ammo man.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): This would add a new fun role to play, also would help incredibly with assaults, and dont worry the mortars would be inacurate, but enough to were they dont hit any time, but they would be rapid fire since they are in real life.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): I kinda already said most the details, but ya maybe if put in game, it could be a new 'Squad', with like a Leader, ammo men, gunners, and markers.

This would be great but it requires THREE people with brains in one squad. Not going to happen. Brains are in limited supply and the five we have to go around are spread evenly among the squads.
Lockie 'Furry' Hughes, your local source of annoyance, medicine and Will. E. Coyote engineering. Mostly medicine. Maybe annoyance.

It could be a whitelisted thing maybe. Or like a ERT thing where you join but only some people get in.

you know when i read your post it made me think, it would make a lot more sense if engineers had their own squad. almost any time a commander sends a squad to engineering its because a squad has what, one engineer?

having a dedicated engineer squad would make so much more sense and make commanding a lot more easy. not to mention, like you said, you could add additional roles to the engineer squad, like a mortar/explosives guy, or a ammo guy.

I was also thinking about that type of stuff, like a engineering company?

If you're gonna make a suggestion like this, come to the thread with a proper suggestion.

New class: Support.
Here's how the prep room looks like, here's precisely what the weapons do and look like with images, here's their equipment, here's their role in the squad, here's all the additionnal information you might want to know, etc...

Your suggestion is way too empty: You're literally saying "Let's add a role" and hoping there's gonna be a discussion that goes somewhere. Assuming the admins care to read ever post of such a thread, I doubt they would care enough to implement an idea that's so vague.

And hey, I think a support class with a mortar or something would be amazing, but come on.

Outside of new weapons, this would require a lot of work for something I'm not quite sure is needed. Maybe it's something to look into in the future, but I am denying it for now.
