yes
Why should you be whitelisted?
i have experience playing commander. i do it under random names because i found that was most successful. as a result people probably dont know who i am.
but ive played commander a decent amount of times, around ten or so. the success rating is usually pretty high when i play, i've only lost twice as commander; one major and one minor.
what separates me, or make me a commander you want as a marine is this: i put squad marines as the highest priority. i focus on supplying them, healing them, and cloning them. if im commander, you will have a higher chance of being cloned and be far more likely to have that special weapon you want.
i give squad leaders as much autonomy as i can, which means i minimize the amount of people that are just 'fob duty'. i also employ sending squads earlier in the game via the pod, so almost always there is at least one squad doesnt have to sit through 30 minutes of waiting for briefing.
if i had to sum up the way i play commander it would be, 'supply them with weapons and reinforcements rather than words'.

If memory serves, you're a decent commander. Competent enough, and I'd trust you to lead. I'll put in a +1.

Ok then, but how willing are you to fight till the last breath?
I don't give my votes out to commanders just because they are good, after all. I want a commander that is brave, who inspires men to keep fighting despite how bleak a situation may be, who is willing to hold vital positions with every resource he has rather than abandon them willy-nilly because a handful of marines died.
I grew most tired of cowardly commanders who retreat with 20 perfectly good fighting men that were holding a position just fine, thus giving the aliens a free key to the planet and total control over both LZs.

Sometimes, bravery comes from the most unlikely sources.

i always go down with the ship. i never retreat unless its the last possible option, and even then i prefer it to be over my dead body.

Why do you think it is better to switch up your names when playing as CO? If you're serious about being a commander, you would need your subordinates to familiarize themselves with your skills. The respect comes from the name and how they perceive it. To be honest, if I saw a name I did not notice at all? I would just deem you a baldie CO with no real experience on the server. My vote will be neutral on this, as I really don't know of your skills as a CO.

Re: 'Jericho Phrixos' Commander Application
ive played commander with you a couple of times, actually xur. once i used you as a ground commander, the other time i put you in charge as a 'ground' xo in charge of the nexus fob. we won both times.
i dont use same names because i like the clean slate it creates. i have to create the respect every round from scratch; to me that helps remind me what it takes to get people to work with you. it adds to the fun of it for me.
but i understand if you dont want to vote for me. i dont think i translate well to paper.

I'll give you my vote due to the fact you gave an honest and legit reason why. I look forward to seeing your Character in action.
