Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Increases the happiness of a fair few of the .DJ regulars.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Remove the rule, and only that rule. Or modify it to only include songs like "alright for 10 minutes", or some of the other popular memes that are in there. The server is self policing already, and with 3 more mehs than woots if a song is too annoying or memey it will be skipped. If one of our ONE EVERY POLICING STAFF are online then they will be right on it, as always, and will skip it. The rule just adds unnecessary restrictions on songs that will be played, and gives more of a workload to our ONE ENTIRE ACTIVE .DJ STAFF MEMBER. There's no reason for the rule, and it does nothing but harm.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Delete rule 8 on the .dj.

As it is right now, you can play pretty much anything as long as it doesn't get under Een's skin seeing as he's the only one who has any level of power in the DJ.

You missed the discussion earlier, that I missed too so I am not going to speak on it, but you can speak to Een about it. Furthermore, Een still has to enforce the rules, that's his job, and he's stated earlier that he will enforce the rules. Also, if and when staff members are added in the future, they will still require guidelines unless Een is forever the only active .dj staff member.

I have to agree. I thought the rules were fine as they were. Noah makes a lot of valid points. The rule itself is pretty vague. I don't really feel like I have too much to add other than don't take my borks away!

The reason there is one active dj staff member is because the memeing cucklords chased everyone else away. This is partly an effort to get more staff in. But last night I was in the plug for a short time and every other song was a shitty meme song.

There is no real reason to play a 6 minute kazoo song, or 10 minutes of yeaheaheah. It's not supposed to be a "let me tab out and snoop this shitty memes on while playing" thing.

People complained and wanted me to make a new non-meme djplug for them. That rule has been there over a week, it only just started getting enforced.

To my understanding a glitch was going on with playlists, a glitch that prevented people from changing them. I don't know how een sets it up, but I have two playlists. One with shitty meme songs, one with music, whenever I want to play a meme song, I queue up two or three appropriate ones, let them play, then revert to normal music. If I wasn't able to change that playlist back, then yes, you'd get a lot of shit music, but I assure you that's not all that plays. If people are memeing and it gets annoying, they get meh'd into oblivion, if the memeing is at an acceptable level, it gets wooted and not skipped.

Forever ago, and he was dealt with. That breaks rules that are already in place, if you wanna keep out the 10 minute "alright" things and what-not, relax the ear rape rule. The memes in the .dj aren't those kind of memes anymore, that was in masterspot's, a lot of it now is song parodies done with different noises and what-not, and the people in the .dj listen to it and woot it because they either find it funny, or like the music. If something is annoying, it's meh'd and skipped, and if something is racist or in some other way incredibly offensive, it's skipped under the racism rule.

Well, if that's the case, then I'll move onto a different .dj. The community worked out perfectly as it was, and it was generally a rather friendly and funny place. A nice mix of both music and memes were played, and whenever something got out of hand it was resolved, and very VERY rarely did anything like that hitler thing come up, only whenever you were on. The change was unneeded, and does nothing but hurt and censor not only the community, but hurts its population, because this is very easily going to drive off players.

It went from 20 players to like 7 because people don't always want to be listening to other people's music all the time. The server averages, at highpop, about 12 people, and at lowpop about 6. The highpop is generally much more actual music, and lowpop becomes more memey because it's a smaller community of the people who have the memes.

Alright, fair enough, but a fair few people will likely leave during that testing period, and all of them may not return whether or not it succeeds or fails. Especially the members of the lowpop community.
