It was finally the day. The day he would become Blooded. Long had he been training; long had he been waiting for his chance, and this was it. The day of his Hunt had arrived. Grabbing his gear, he prepared himself. Foot-traps; blades; his knife and his combi-spear.. He steeled himself, body and mind, knowing that he would either win the day and become blooded, or die trying. He sat solemnly in the ship, meditating, until it was time to go. He dawned his mask, his armor, and his gauntlets. He wouldn’t lose. He walked inside the giant temple, built by ancient Yaujta, and descended into the darkness that was his trial. He was prepared for a fight, and he was overzealous. Then, the first serpent, the first r'ka, charged him. He thought he was prepared, he thought he was ready. He slashed, but it was slow and clumsy, and missed. The serpent, it didn’t. He felt the tail of his enemy pierce his armor on his back, and for a second, he thought this was it. But he remembered his few foot traps he had left, and just barely was able to clamp one on its foot. the beast staggered and roared, and with a flourish of his combi-spear the creature’s tail was severed. Ripping its tail out of his back, acid dripping down his hand, he stabbed the beast with its own tail. It collapsed, dead. He marked himself, and skinned his kill. But the day was not done yet. The screeches of more r’ka echoed down the long hallways. Having gotten his first kill, the journey back to the entrance of the temple started. Again though, another creature ambushed him. This time, it didn’t get the drop on him. Extending the combi-spear, it tore through the creature’s leg. It screeched, acid spraying everywhere. Having felt a burning sensation emanating from his chest plate, he threw it off, just in time as the plate melted into nothing. The creature retreated into the darkness that was the ancient temple,and Kwei continued up the temple. He exited the temple, bloodied and bruised, with the kill he needed to become blooded. A second hunter exited, but not a third. He was brought up and made blooded on his ship. As he sat, resting his aching muscles, he laughed. He had done it. He had accomplished his dream, his purpose in life. His head fell to his shoulder, and he closed his eyes

He opened his eyes again. He was some place different. He remembered where he was, and what he was hunting. He stalked the animal, not using his cloak, when it came from the side and tackled him down. It wasn't the biggest of creatures, but it was cunning. Black stripes went down and up its body, orange where they weren't. It bit into his arm, shaking it. He roared and punched the beast off him, then set his trap. He quickly backed up to a tree, where the beast again pounced. He sidestepped and it crashed into the tree, activating his trap. A net sprung up, and wrapped around the animal, and he quickly pulled the net down and plunged an injector into it, sedating the beast. Before he had a chance to transport it though, something else came up from behind him. It was bipedal, and stood at about three fourths of his height, armed with what looked like a wood stick reinforced with iron. Then it fired. The projectile whizzed past his head, and collided with the beast with a resounding crack. He was mad. He spent three days getting his trap together, and another two luring it to the trap, just to have this, this weakling, ruin it. He quickly disarmed the creature, breaking its arm with a flick of his wrist. He realized it was one of the soft meat he had encountered before. He wondered what was it doing so far away from its home, and though he didn’t know, he didn’t care to find out. Upset at the death of his prey, he broke the soft meats other arm, and blew out its knee with a swift kick. He took its toy and left it to be feasted on by the carrion. Returning to his ship, he went and checked on the other creatures he had captured, feeding and experimenting on them. He moved to his collection of projectile weapons and other trinkets, admiring his treasure, and proceeded to throw the carbine into the giant pile.
How do you intend to play your predator (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your predator. This will weigh HEAVILY and frequently breaking from this MAY result in removal)? Well, my predator is kinda a hoarder. I intend to play as a predator who collects a lot of items he finds. From the simplest hat to a SADAR, my predator will go out of his way to collect things that interest him to add to his own personal collection. If he sees a smartgunner, and the smartgun interests him he will go out of his way to collect it and experiment on it. This does not mean he will go out of his way to KILL the person using it, but he will try to find creative ways of acquiring it. Don’t get the wrong impression that he will use the weapon against the soft meats, he won’t. He only collects the weapons out of curiosity and interest, not as a new tool of killing. He will also do the normal RP and hunting and so on, but his main goal is to expand his collection.
Why should we whitelist you? Based on my actions recently, I think I have been improving my overall attitude and RP skills, and that should speak for itself. I have tried multiple times, and I think that shows some level of determination most players don’t have or show in applications like this. I am open to constructive critique and hope to be the next person accepted into the small whitelist we have.
