Em, sentries in glass??? Three or at least one barricade in front of each sentry would be much more useful.

Barricades are expensive; also sentries can shoot through glass in the same tile.Jeser wrote:Em, sentries in glass??? Three or at least one barricade in front of each sentry would be much more useful.
Sur engineering techniques properly applied; great work Carmac. Just shy of perfection due to lack of light tiles and vendors, but it's definitely top shelf.
Probably will use this as a reference image if/when I decide to repost my combat engineer guide.

Wait, so, sentries still can shoot through glass this way? I thought it was removed. Then it's okay.

Another thing I know you might not like is that some staff are on the side of the false doors in front being metagaming if you don't know there's a Boiler, I personally just do them last because normally boilers are spotted by then, but that's something you should probably mention in the guide if it isn't clarified before-hand.Surrealistik wrote:Barricades are expensive; also sentries can shoot through glass in the same tile.

Also, will remember the vendors, very important, light tiles will come last, or first if power gets shat on in future rounds.

False walls in front of barricades make sense for just sectioning off areas that are unguarded and creating further physical obstacles; I don't see why they're meta gaming at all.Carmac wrote:Another thing I know you might not like is that some staff are on the side of the false doors in front being metagaming if you don't know there's a Boiler, I personally just do them last because normally boilers are spotted by then, but that's something you should probably mention in the guide if it isn't clarified before-hand.

"In 100 years more we will be a story. In 200 years an epic period. In 500 years a medieval tale.
In 1,000 years a relic. In 5,000 years archaeological remains. In 10,000 years an ancient mystery.
In 20,000 years a legend like Atlantis. We are nothing. Life is so short and death so long. "

protip don't wrench fuel tanks presuming it'll bolt them down, that's why there's welding fluid all around the tank on the floor. It's a good way to quickly empty a fuel tank however, if you ever need to do that, for some stupid reason.
