X, click, X, click, X, click, X, click, X, click, X, click, X, click, X, click, X, click, X, click, X, click, X, click, RELOAD IT BEFORE YOU'RE SLASHED TO DEATH BY HAVING BOTH YOUR REVOLVERS UNLOADED AND PUT THE FIRST ONE IN YOUR SUIT STORAGE AND RELOAD THE SECOND ONE, THEN RELOAD THE FIRST ONE.

Repeat.

If you're going to dual wield revolvers, get a holster and get BCs (if you can't get BCs then just get 2 recoil comp or suppressors) revolvers create a lot of recoil and can output a lot of damage for their limited ammo capacity and their RoF. They're useful as a last resort or suppressive fire, but you're trying to run away, you're going to die quick, so calculate your shots carefully on the run. When you're reloading (this is where the holster comes in) empty out the revolver with ammo, and open the cylinder, do the same with the other, and holster one of them. Get a speed reloader out and click the revolver (keep 2 speed reloaders in storage in case you run out or need to store any extra bullets), close the cylinder and unholster the other empty revolver in an open hand, then holster the revolver with ammo and repeat that reload process.
You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

Or you can completely skip reloading and just fill your entire backpack with revolvers, and drop the ones your using.

Not like anyone ever uses them anyway, so there is literally like a hundred of them in stock laying about.

I wonder, if I have the shoulder holster that could potentially give me another 6 shots before having to reload.

It can but it's better to just have 3 revolvers on you, 2 for the main shooting that are modded and 1 spare in case you lose both.

Mind you I don't use revolvers anyway, since a primary with decent attachments trumps revolvers 90% of the time.

Powergaming is loading up on most if not all of the AP ammo then getting normal ammo for the rest, grabbing every good attachment, advanced medkit, hyperzine hypo / pills with ways to mediate the damage from them, etc.

I don't see how using revolvers that no one else is using to circumvent the clunky UI of CM is powergaming, but if staff say it is, then ill just not use that strategy.

And im talking gameplay, not realism. Until the bad reload mechanic of revolvers is fixed, its not worthwhile to use revolvers over any other weapon; the time spend reloading even with macros could be better spent with a primary, or even a bootknife if you are that desperate.

No, they're vigilantes with gear/money. Also, The Hood is a villain.

New York reload ‎(plural New York reloads)

The act of drawing a second handgun when the first jams or runs out of ammunition, rather than reloading the first, in order to gain a speed advantage.

It is widely used technique. Some armed policemans carry as much as 8 revolvers in bag. IRL it gives at least 5 seconds advantage in firefights. So i see no reason why not abuse something that REAL LIFE 2017 POLICE uses. For handguns case is altogether different as reloading M4A3 handgun is quite easy. And, properly modded you have badass SMG that you can put in backpack.

Personally I prefer dual pistols, but dual revolvers is fun if you have one with slimline rounds and a scope, and the other with a barrel charger or bayonet. I like the pistols because you can mount the rail flash on one and a quickfire + AP on the other for a surprising amount of firepower.

Ignore revolvers. SMG's are the way to go. Get an MT to hack the marine vendors when everyone is done so that you can get AP mags. You can fit two SMG's in your hands, one in your suit storage slot, and one on your belt if you get the special M39 harness from Requisitions for a total of 4 SMG's. Carry a backpack full of revolvers for maximum effect, with only 6 spare AP mags in your armor, harness, and pockets.
