Xeno Hive Status bugged
Bug Description: Hive status do not show most living Xenos and dead Xenos.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Start a round as Xeno
2. See 0 Xenos alive in Hive Status
3. Make Queen Mother cri
4. See newly born Xenos sometimes appear randomly in the list...
5. Be confused

In addition, xenos are rarely alerted to the deaths of other xenos.

Hm. In the interest in gathering more details can you try doing hive status in various locations (ice colony, sulaco, LV-624) to make sure it's not a locational thing? I tried it out in the thunderdome a day ago and it seemed to be working perfectly fine.

I was for that. I reconnected to the server and the Hive Status was updated, albeit, not in the way I wanted it to be. I think it had to do with the game regarded as "xenos" since most of the Hive Status was filled with logged out xenomorphs, the original starting larvae, some drones and the Queen, and a boiler.Artouris wrote:Hm. Xeno deaths are very fickle as well and I think it only reports the deaths of ORIGINAL starting xenos, while the ones that came after don't get recorded.
No idea why its happening, considering the new updates didn't touch xeno code.
