Stasis bags slowing down the defib timer
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Make stasis bags slow down/halt the defibrillation timer.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Medics basically have a chance to defibrillate someone who's being dragged to them, instead of immediate resuscitation on-spot. This would result in further increase of medic's importance on the battlefield, and would work nicely with the recent cloning removal.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): As stasis bags slow down, or even halt the body metabolism - it would obviously slow down the body decay. As for the slowdown multiplier, I have no idea what could it be - but ten-fifteen minutes of being able to defibrillate someone would be somewhat outstanding.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Code change, I reckon.

A failure, also called a semi-competent medic sometimes.

Cut out the embryo part - I completely forgot about that. Apologies.

+1 so medics can actually treat the dying first before bringing back the dead. It'll also encourage more use of stasis bags.
Troublesome, as usual.

Part of the suggestion is slowing decay of the body, which stasis bag doesn't do, does it?
If it doesn't, its defo needed so stasis bags are used for more than extremely critical patients, so that we can bring people back to a safe FOB / LZ / Sulaco without having to instantly defib in a active combat zone.

I'd rather have it that cold stops or slows down decay, and frozen bodies can be warmed up to be reanimated after. That way, it'd add quite the amount of REALLY COOL gameplays. Either way, +1.
CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

Lockie 'Furry' Hughes, your local source of annoyance, medicine and Will. E. Coyote engineering. Mostly medicine. Maybe annoyance.

+1, I'm grateful for the timer increase on defibs already, but with other injured and critical marines coming in, we need some way to agonize-- I mean, delay the death of our fallen comrades.

Strongly wish this was a thing, As is doctors get maybe two surgeries a round because everyone else is decapped. or just left laying somewhere because they cant be saved. Give me a project to work on sometime.

+1 I died today because a doc defibbed me, didn't stabilize me, put me in a stasis bag, dragged me back to the rasp, took me to medical, and a doc opened the stasis bag to find I'd died 5 minutes ago.
Garth Pawolski, or is it Powalski?

+1 Make stasis bags great again. (Not that they were ever useful in the first place...)
