Queen gib strips gear.

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): The gib is only ever used to delete gear. Queens frequently run into the shootout to grab a specialist and gib him, deleting his gear without having to spend time pouring acid or it, and circumventing anti-acid spray.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Powergaming tactic removed, but xenos can still manually melt the stripped gear.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Gear is stripped before the gib occurs.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): As above.

Is it common that there would be another specialist nearby to rescue/use the now-stripped specialist gear, in your experience?

Wouldn't this merely add an extra step to the "powergaming" anyways?

The queen frequently does this in plain sight of the entire marine force, just around the corner. Run in, screech, drag spec and gib next room.

+1, but you're free to tear appart clothings and throw items around to add up to the realism.

Im not sure if its just me, but when I gut people, it drops all their gear on the floor anyway and doesn't actually delete it.

Ive only had one successful queen round out of one other queen round, though, so I am not sure how accurate that statement is.
