I was Meta Comming using the CM Discord, I fucked up and know that but I doubt anyone cares since I've been called Retarded and variations of dim witted and slow by both Staff and others alike.

I have been accused of lying about what happened, I have been given false information by Staff.

I know I'm not the fastest person on the uptake and I do have issues with communication, but I do resent being called Slow witted or dumb.
I get multiple, conflicting answers and when I get confused by it I get either Condescending answers or Staff acting like I'm retarded and dumbing stuff down just so 'slow witted' me can understand.

I get enough of that shit from Bullies in real life, I don't need or enjoy it here either.

I've been accused of lying, of leaving the Discord to avoid being interrogated on what happened and the whole thing with Major and Minor Meta Comms despite your own Rules having nothing on this.

I was never given a chance to explain my side of what happened on the Discord, I was assumed to have run away while I was sitting in the channel below unnoticed for an entire hour.

As far as people calling you names by staff and others, if it happened in Discord, give me names and I deal with that, as it breaks the "don't be a dick" rule.

I don't think staff or people are trying to bully you on the discord. It's true that SOME staff have much less tact than others, but being direct doesn't mean they are bullying you. Most of our staff talk down to nearly all the CM players because most players on CM are younger and when you deal with as much stupid on a daily basis as staff do, you tend to start treating everyone as stupid.

AS far as lying, I'm not sure about any of that, as I don't see reports or anything official about that.


What I see is the following:

I got a report that 2 people were metacomming on /tg/ over our discord. I got a confirmation from my staff AND /tg/ about the metacomms. I issued a ban order. Bans were filed.

Then, instead of appealing you're own appeal like a grown adult or taking any responsibility, you proceeded to shit all over another persons appeal where they were attempting to take responsibility, extending it's processing and investigation time by posting claims and accusations without any supporting evidence.



You will need to give me a very good reason to authorize the lift on your Ban, because I don't think it's very mature or responsible to be salting up someone else's appeal. Even if that wasn't your intention, it's the result. You were posting very brashly and salty, which worked against his attempt to ensure it wouldn't happen again and that the single mistake wasn't a representation of himself. I see the opposite from you. You're appeal here reeks of attitude and salt, and literally in your chance to explain yourself you just posted a bunch of broad accusations with no evidence.

So here's what you need to do if you want to get anywhere with this appeal and prove what I've seen so far as wrong:

1. Provide evidence of people accusing you of lying or giving you false information.
2. Provide evidence of STAFF MEMBERS calling you names or bullying you.
3. Change your attitude RIGHT NOW. No one wants to deal with or discuss things with someone posting as overtly aggressive as you are. Give at least the same respect you are being given here when you type and respond and maintain a cool head with minimal salt. If you don't start wildly accusing others or shifting blame, you'll go a MUCH longer way in an appeal that if you start posting all over the place.
4. Instead of saying you didn't get the chance to explain your side, EXPLAIN YOUR SIDE.



Discord is a privilege, not a right. If you abuse it, you get banned. It's not required for SS13 or CM at all.

1: Feweh claimed he heard me say this on the Discord when he was there listening, but in the Ban appeal thread he said he never heard this and left afterwards.
I DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR REPORT REGARDING THE SINGULARIT. I CARE THAT I HEARD YOU SAY OLD MAN ROBUSTINS HAS AN ENERGY SWORD AND IS KILLING ME.
2: Can I say that the respose to my posts in that thread were condescending and assumed I knew about the secret Major/Minor Meta Comms rule?
3:I admit most of my Attitude issues stemmed from thinking the Staff were treating me like a Idiot and the text based nature of the conversation doesn't really lend well to knowing others true tone. Combined with a form of Aspergers Syndrome, it results in me acting... strongly against those I think are treating me like a Idiot or seem to be mocking me.
4: Well, I guess the story starts back in November 2016, when I first joined the Discord. At that point my understanding of Rule 9 was that Meta Comming wasn't allowed under any circumstance.
After a while I had heard what you would describe as 'Minor' Meta comming. I asked about it and was assured that it was normal. Considering I had no clue there was even a thing such as the Minor/Major thing, I started doing it myself.
Eventually I heard someone who I found out was a Staff, by seeing their name on the Discord and in the AdminWho Tab, talking about what you would describe as 'Major' Meta comming and considering I had been told Meta Comms were normal and that nobody was making a fuss about it I assumed that fell under the Meta Comms were normal banner too.
I knew that IC in OOC for CM proper was a big no no, but the Discord rules regarding it seemed laxer.
This lead up to and contributed to the events when I got banned for Meta Comming.

I saw your message in Mchat saying we were banned for Meta Comms.
I was then told it wasn't for Meta Comming, it was for breaking another Servers rules with the CM Discord.
Slc said that was why we were banned and that if we were going to Meta Comm use Team speak or Skype.
That was the first time I learned that Minor/Major Meta Comms was a thing.
I swear that before then I had never heard mention of a Minor/Major Metacomms distinction.

I now know why and to what degree my actions were wrong and I acknowledge that my posts were both disruptive and disrespectful to the Staff.

I swear that I will endeavor not to Meta Comm again or use the CM Discord in any capacity to do so on other server's.
I also promise to record all future Discord conversations I am apart of, to have evidence and report any violations of CM rules and events similar to my own.

The only way I can prove it is by recording Discord Conversations, that's the only evidence you accept, yes?
