Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):marnies. The badasses of space who keep the peace through superior skill, strength, and firepower. One small quarie though, how come a fully trained and fit trooper can't catch a crab and at least hold it off while in the movies an untrained civilian female was able to hold one off for 8 seconds(minus protagonist immortality of course)
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):it will add a bit more realism to the game and also slightly counter the carrier God hood that has appeared since the removal of hugger combat.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):if a marine is looking at a facehugger that is on the ground and inactive(ie not being being thrown by a carrier, if the carrier lands the shot there is no way a person can react fast enough to catch it),has the throw hotkey on, and has both hands empty. The face hugger will leap at the marine initiating a struggle between the two stunning the marine for 6 seconds while they fight it out. If the marine is pulled or slashed the face hugger will attach to the marine and impregnate it, but if the marine is unintirupted he will kill the face hugger and be able to get back into the fight. If the marine has a helmet it will do the usual helmet attack, the hugger catch only applies to unprotected marines
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):(cake joke)
Catching huggers.

Re: Catching huggers.
This can be interesting. +1
"In 100 years more we will be a story. In 200 years an epic period. In 500 years a medieval tale.
In 1,000 years a relic. In 5,000 years archaeological remains. In 10,000 years an ancient mystery.
In 20,000 years a legend like Atlantis. We are nothing. Life is so short and death so long. "

Re: Catching huggers.
can already be done.if the carrier throws it DIRECTLY at you.You also have to throw it away fast enough.

Re: Catching huggers.
It's not about catching carrier huggers but rather catching a hugger if the carrier misses and it lands nearby and then jumps at the marine

Random chance would kick ass. This needs to happen, muthafuckin' +1 muthafucka.
The MAN, The MYTH, The LEGEND, https://youtu.be/1kXU14hkuSI.
That one old man that USED to run around as Engineer building retarded table forts and developing relationships on a questionable level with sentry turrets. Now I run around as someone equally stupid, doing equally stupid shit as a Medic. Oh and Pookie, that's also me.
http://prntscr.com/grdigl I totally succeeded in that btw, it was a badass kick-flip.

Re: Catching huggers.
This was already suggested and denied.
