Making Xeno vision only see heat signatures through walls

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Stop Xeno's getting to see exactly the load out and role of the said marine, For example a Xeno would be unaware whether the marine is a medic or a SADAR spec making it a little less gamy and actually surprise them.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Xeno's only see Full coloured silhouettes through walls, or just making them unable to identify the person, whatever weapon and or role they are.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Coding I assume not my area of expertise though.

This is an interesting idea, although implementing it might be difficult. I'm no coder though.

Just decided to post this as I witnessed a Queen visibly retreat and ambush a lone marine after the SADAR was wielded showing clearly on the sprite what weapon it was, They were separated by a one tile thick wall at the time of wielding

So basically remove what gives the xenos the ability to strategize efficiently or know when a situation is getting bad? If Marines had this same ability, there's no doubt they'd be unstoppable mainly because every stealth tactic or ambush is virtually pointless. Also, try to think of what'd happen. Xenos would melt each and each wall there is, paincrit nested Marines to avoid them from accessing their weapons while having little to no doors around them.

how does a xenomorph know what a squad leader or smartgun is

I am in no way saying I want Xeno's to be unable to see marines through walls, I'm suggesting it be a more realistic thermal image you could still differentiate between a nested marine and a free one, Just seems a little far fetched that a wall has no visual impairment on a Xeno and therefore allows them a sizeable advantage rather than them being somewhat cautious when stalking marines through walls.

They'd still be able to evaluate the approaching force of marines and have an idea of how many and where the marines are at any given time.

This has been suggested before and never got accepted because it's very difficult to do for the devs actually.

Its not hard to make the outline a thermal signature-esque pixel. I think the hard part is making it work whenever your behind a wall and then stopping it from working when your looking right at a marine.

I know but what I'm saying is, xenos would absolutely move away from making walls and doors and instead switch to membranes. They have no way of knowing who's going to do he most damage or cause the most trouble and therefore rely on every form of cover there is being pulled down. They would also have to pain crit Marines to avoid them being a danger to the hive by getting up and buckshotting anyone hat tried to subdue it.

Safety is better than vision or at the very least, membranes would actually have a use now.

If their cover is being destroyed, then they'll get vision of their attacker and adjust accordingly. Or die.
