Health Analyzer tells you if someone's deaf

Post by Imperator_Titan » 16 Feb 2017, 12:54

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): So you've just been blown up by a HE grenade by your fellow squadmate and a medic comes over to check you and you're deaf and he says that you need to evac but you can't hear and then you finally tell him that you're deaf. Instead of him wasting time talking, he could get straight down to the emotes business if he knew that you were deaf.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Stops medics from wasting time talking to deaf people.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Add another line of text saying something like "The patient is deaf" or something.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Coding.

Well, I mean, when I get blown up I just loudly announce I AM DEAF to every person I see. But why not.

I don't know how this would work. The HF2 analyzers detect unnatural cell regeneration (cancer), anomalies with the cells' chemical composition (radiation poisoning and toxins), damage within the brain (brain damage; done with an integrated MRI), or bone fractures (... X-Rays). Damage to the ear drum and its hair would be rather difficult to examine with technology unless the ear drum was ruptured.

+1 I guess
You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

I'd rather there just be a line of text that says:

"Baldie McMarine has blood leaking out of his ears."

when you examine them instead.
