so, i'm gonna be making a battle brothers play through using people from the forums

for those of you who don't know, battle brothers puts you in charge of a merc company, it starts off with you getting ambushed on your way to your contract, its a bloodbath, the CO goes down leaving you in command, by the end of the battle only 3 of you stand.This is the start of the game


during the tutorial you're given the objective to recruit 2-3 more men.That takes the total up to 5-6 to start off with.
if you would like to be in this drop your name in a reply and what you would like to be (beserker,archer etc) and if you would like any specific weapons.
i'm not going to start for a while, we'll also need a name for our merry band of misfits.

honestly, I can make any class you can think of probably.

for those of you woundering, we'll be fighting all sorts of creatures.from bandits to an entire battalion of greenskins to an undead graveyard.We might get ambushed, we might just be guarding cargo.Many battles shall come however and we will more than likely lose over half our troops to the greenskins(dey OP) but who knows how the story ends up, we might end up dead after an ambush from orks, or a local lord sends his militia after us instead of paying us.We'll find out soon enough.
PS, weapons include:
pickaxe
2 handed axe
sword and shield
2 swords
mace
falcion
bow
crossbow
spear
probably even more that I haven't found.
you're character has 2 hands btw as well as 2 pockets to store things.Armor can range from a simple leather tunic to full plate mail.mix and match to your hearts content

highly depends on where RNGesus puts me.If i'm near a village which has a fletchers I can get one fairly quickly,if not it might take a tad bit of time to get
I'll start you off with a bow,then as soon as I get one i'll give it to you.

Put in Mathias as a sort of knight or paladin sort of role, big heavy armor with a sword and shield.

Mathais:same loadout as me except with plate armor
Rokusho:archer with some leather armor.upgrading to a crossbowman eventually
Jade Mikinn:our healer,i'll be giving our medical supplies to them, they'll also get an axe and shield with some armor as well
we still need a name for the company
we still need one more person who we'll start with.

every squad needs a sergeant/Rallyier. If you're good enough to get that far in the game throw me in.

If you ever need another person put me in (as Lochlann Healy).

Using a Two handed Sword or Axe, whichever you find first and some Plate armor but chain if you can't find any.

Edit. Be more of a Tank then a fighter whichever role that would be.

and so our story begins.
WOOSH CHARGE!
they came out the forest like lightning, on our way to kill Hoggart the weasel he ambushed us, knowing we were coming.It was a slaughter, The commander gave a nod to his 2nd in command, Joe Kent, as they slit his throat.Joe quickly threw the very few men he had into a hasty shield wall and beat off the ambush.There were 3 left.They were him, the archer named Rokusho and the massive 2 handed axe wielder Kavlo.They went to return to the orginal contact broker, who was shocked to find out what had happened on our way towards Hoggart.He gave us the money we were promised and asked us if we still wanted to continue with the contract, We agreed and set off to get revenge for our comrades.

On the way out of town, Kavlo came up to captian Joe and suggested we grabbed more men from Hornsted, which was west of our contracter.Joe agreed and the company set off towards hornsted, it was there they would pick up 3 new men.
They would be called Jade Mikinn,not a fighter but a damn good healer, we'd lost our healer in the ambush so a new one was welcomed with open arms.The second would be called Mathias, he was a lowborn who always dreamt of being a knight, he decided he'd be better off joining a merc company and came towards us armed with a simple sword and shield and gambeson.We took him in and training him the best we could.The 3rd would be called Flash, he had heard about our adventures before the ambush.As soon as he heard the barbos were in town recruiting he grabbed his fathers spear and shield and gambeson armor and ran to find us.Joe looked him up and down, then looked around for any better candidates before sighing and taking him to the rest of the men.

we approached Hoggarts camp under the cover of darkness and charged the camp in the middle of the night. We slaughtered 5 men outside the gate before the weasel himself challenged us to a field battle right outside the camp.We took the chance and formed a shield wall...the battle will begin soon.

TING CLASH
fighting raged for hours as the 2 shield walls clashed, Rokusho took up position on a nearby hill and quickly dispatched the enemy archer, the rest of the shield wall line up at the base of the hill, ready to attack.One of the enemies broke off from the enemy shield wall and charged at Kavlo, swinging like a madman, Kavlo stood there, laughing as he dodged every single attack.He then held his axe firm and swung at the enemy's head, decapitating him fairly easily. The enemy shield wall fell into a shambles, they charged us in a frenzy and we killed them all with no casualties.The men surrounded the weasel as he blocked every attack with his shield.Kavlo, enraged by this broke his shield in two, leaving him defenceless.As kavlo went to finish him off, his attack was blocked by Joe, who simply nodded at Kavlo and he nodded back.The men formed a circle around Joe and Hoggart.Joe threw him a sheild and challenged him to a duel.He accepted and the two men started to circle...Hoggart grew impatient and charged Joe who with one stab from his spear, knocked the sword out of Hoggarts hands and kicked his shield from his hands.Hoggart started to crawl away from Joe, who picked up Hoggarts sword and stood over Hoggart.He simply shouted "FOR THE BARBOS!" and stuck the blade into Hoggart's head.The battle was won and revenge was served.The Barbos went for a hot meal, a cold jug of mead and their well deserved Payment for completeing the contract.

that we can, after playing a bit I'm just gonna say we've already survived two more fucking ambushes and survived with one casualty who I replaced instantly and gave him the same name (because there's no one else I can add right now.)

Seems like we got quite a few tanks running with us, if it comes down to it and i die (I might have already) Then replace me with a lightly armored guy and a spear or something.

alright, I've decided i'm going to restart this, its really not gone well.We lost 4 people in a single ambush and the last person decided to quit.I'm gonna restart and hope for better luck
