Bug Description: People who join late in matches without a CO are able to become the new CO without a whitelist

Steps to reproduce:
1. Join late in a match
2. Access Join USCM
3.Make sure you're not whitelisted as CO
4. Click on CO(provided it is empty)
5. Pat yourself on the back for completing 1-4





I discovered this bug the hard way when I joined as CO and later got banned for overall incompetence, bless the admins for making sure incompetent COs can never continue being incompetent. Yes I am very salty about my ban...

Have either of you encountered this bug yourselves?

I have tired to test it myself, but have failed to replicate this 'bug' even as I follow the OP's steps. Commander never showed up in the list even when there's no CO in the round, and I am not whitelisted myself.

p.s. Note that the OP's job ban was applied before the CO Whitelist was implemented, and I don't see how he can replicate this bug himself considering a job ban was in place.. Unless there's a bug with job bans instead, which would be another story...

I dont really like command roles so I wouldn't have encountered it. I just said it should be fixed since, well theres a whitelist for a reason.

it might be a bug with job bans in general, there was a bug before where job banned xenos could still play xeno they just couldn't evolve

I've tested this in game with a player and could not replicate. Has anyone actually done this who is not whitelisted?

Since no one came through with information, I am locking this. Feel free to post another thread with more evidence that this is an issue, especially if you can replicate it.
