Allow aliens' bodies to be stored in a body bag

Post by Crab_Spider » 27 Feb 2017, 09:03

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): As our title suggests, allow xenomorphs' corpses to be placed and stored in body bags.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Safe transport to the shuttles, competant researchers can provide enough information to greenlight otherwise meta tactics, production of products such as anti-acid and chitin plating, and less salty xenos who are pissed off by the desecration of their bodies.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Because of how mines work, trying to transport xeno corpses to the Rasputin or Vindicator is a hard task due to mines, which automatically trigger and detonate if any non-ID wearing mobs cross their path, dead or not. Simply allowing their DEAD bodies to be stored in body bags completely stops this risk. That's it. DEAD bodies.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

I really don't mind this suggestion one way or the other. However, as a passerby, would you indulge me as to why? I'm quite curious.

He didn't say. All he did was ask me why and then ignore me.

Size. That is why.

Edit: Also, isn't there still acidic blood coming out of them? It would melt through the bag, if that is the case.

It's better not to think about it and body bags are the only thing that can be used by anyone and obtained by anyone.

i've fit 7 steel tables into a bag, i would suspend my disbelief and say that marines are part swedish with their ikea-packing skills.

All of my no. Xenos are covered in assorted pointy bits across their body which would just love to shred apart a body bag. Also there is the fact that xenos are acid pinatas and if they're dead that means somebody has cracked it open exposing all the delicious acid inside which again, would just love to shred apart a body bag. Did I say -1 yet?

In a game like this I hate it when people bring up realism. It's gameplay > realism for the sake of balancing and game mechanics. If we followed the realistic logic Riot masks would offer much better hugger protection, and so would spacesuit helmets / welding masks. Xeno would ooze acid that caused constant breaches, and acid that got onto marines would knock them into pain crit and ruin anything it got splashed onto. Jungle vines wouldn't complete block bullet. blah blah blah you get my point.

+1 science needs love or better get make it like metal gear and let marines send up small care packages directly to scientists. Via some sorta pod delivery system.
