Alien Evolution restrictions
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
So I don't know if there is some lore blurb I am missing, but in the game it seems sort of ridiculous that the aliens are setting up a full on war-swarm before the marines even first touch down on the planet. What IC reason is there for the hive mind to be evolving T3 lifeforms when the only other living things are unarmed survivors and monkeys/lirrens. My idea is that the aliens cannot evolve T3 lifeforms until they take losses from the marine expedition.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
This allows the marines some time to explore the planet and move around a bit, maybe RP a little, instead of immediately NEEDING to hunker down and set up a tank fort, and not fighting against a wave of mature-elite T2 and T3 lifeforms before they even know what a facehugger is. Makes the ayys A BIT more cautious when dealing with the marine incursion.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
Lock T3 evolution until a set limit of aliens are lost, or the queen mother can give the queen permission, so up to whoever is doing that.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
Uh, not really familiar with the baystation code, so I really cant say

-1 Piss off please (sorry)
You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

Re: Alien Evolution restrictions
I'm quite sure that they're expecting the marines to come, lore wise. So it would make sense for them to start evolving T3s.tiredbum wrote:Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):

Re: Alien Evolution restrictions
im pretty sure ayyliens shouldnt be able to go t3's untill marines atleast land, its makes it too EZPZ. Stupid sounding idea but i dig that +1
Janina 'Bullseye' Jardine- Never misses, but what she DOES hit is another thing
This place would be so much better if marines were replaced with cyborgs, atleast those would follow orders. assuming there was a rule forcing them to do so...

Re: Alien Evolution restrictions
This doesn't work with out gameplay, where the xenomorphs are outnumbered by the humans three to one, or more, on first drop. Denied.
