How do you make weedkiller as a chem? Is there a way for this to be mass produced? Are there materials needed in order to make the craft?
You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. Cannot be made. There are a few bottles planetside which can be used.

the spray bottles must've been what I was thinking of Crab, I still struggle to understand the chem sprayer's ability to be useful.

I've used them, they fire 3 separate chems at the speed of boiler spit. Pretty nifty when trying to fend off xenos with poly acid

Okay, its VERY very hard. like stupidly hard. Ive tried and succeded, but it really is not worth it. Two ways to do it:

Option A) slightly plausible (but why waste your precious time when explosives work much better):
-Find the weed seeds (if you know where they are, then you know what im talking about)
-Plant and harvest them
- Now with the weed available, you can go find a seed generator and make more plants (or you can use some clippers and cut a piece of the weed plant to use)
-Using the leftover harvest, you can grind it up and make poison, scince it is an after chemical in the plant( you also get bicardine and such, so ehh, thats nice)
-Congrats, you have the component to weedkiller

Option B) Welll damn son, you are crazy:
-Ingest some phoron sheets.
- Cycle a sleeper to begin poison treatment
- Wait inside a sleeper, hope to god you dont die
- after a while, you should have a beaker filled with poison extracted from your bloodstream
-Congrats, you have a component to weedkiller, you sad crazy person, you.
-(I have not done this option yet)

Also, try not to abuse it scince it is a piece of leftover code, just enjoy the weed, and give some to the MT's scince its their weed, man.

The recipe is water and toxins good luck getting toxins. You can get it from burnt food, other than that it's a mystery!

Toxins is or was actually very easy to generate with the chem dispenser. The problem is, it does not react with water (last I checked, in January). I am very confident that your only chance at getting weedkiller is from the spray bottles on planet.

toxins is a base chemical, they removed it from chem dispensers scince having unlimited weed killer is bad mkay. you still have a chance to get toxins through other means, but its not worth the effort.

As I said, there is (or was, the codebase does change) a specific reaction that would generate toxin.


Whatever method you use, though, toxin does not react with water in this codebase.

This is incorrect as I tested the reaction myself. Water with toxins creates Plant-B-Gone.

Was this on CM? Last I tried to mix Toxin with Water I got zero reaction.

Two types of toxins in the code, one is created by mixing paracetamol and tramadol. The can only be obtained though two other methods, the first involves creating burnt messes planetside in the kitchen. Grinding that up will yield carbon and toxins, mix with water and you got planet-B-gone. The other method is easier all you do is -redacted-

Theres one type of "toxins" in the code, and its toxins. There are a few ways you can get it, but all of them are very very annoying and time consuming compared to the reward they give.

That is incorrect, there are two types of toxins. One reacts with water, one does not.

You can make weed killer, Peridaxon + Hyperzine creates toxin, then add some water on it.

So i did the check, seems the "toxin" created by peri/hyper does not react with water to create weedkiller (as far as my tests have gone) but all the other toxins do. So interestin stuff.
