[Xeno] Evolution Stalling

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Allow evolution progress meter to either go normal speed or slower (1 per 2 ticks) when you hit the evolutionary limit. So say you hit 200/200 as a Runner but don't want to evolve at that time, or your stuck because all T2 slots are taken. Instead of Upgrading, you can stay as you are with the progress going 201/200, 202/200, and so on. When you evolve / eventually Upgrade out of frusteration, you will keep your progress; aka if your a Runner and have 300/200, you will have 100/400 when you hit Mature Runner, making you wait far less than before.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Eliminates the early game rush of keeping your plasma at 100, 300, and 700 respectively because someone is going to sit in the corner, not doing their job as a xeno, then evolve when your still stuck with 50 plasma. The moment you get that plasma back, and try to evolve, your now super cucked because your slot was taken by a sloth / asshole. This can be balanced by, as shown below, being slower in evolution (2 ticks for 1 progress instead of 1 progress per 1 tick) if you've hit the limit. This also makes it easier for later game xenos who are usually stuck at Young T1 due to all the slots being taken; they won't feel as shitty since they can wait with their progress still ongoing, meaning they won't be Young Hunter with no progress by the time a slot opens up (usually when too many die or when they are raiding Sulaco).

Eh, I like the idea but I fear this will encourage Xenos to save up forever, say a runner who doesn't want to mature now has a reason to stay young and hide forever. Without "wasting" time.

Furthermore might cause some silly things like a runner becoming ancient in five seconds.

The first one, well, the only way around that is a Queen Hive management system ive proposed before. Otherwise, we will always have people doing this even without this system in place.

The other thing isn't really silly, because A) people with patience enough to do this are rare, B) people being able to survive as a Young Runner for that long or AFK for that long is rare, and C) its not really that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things since they would have been able to do that normally anyway.

Either way, its a lot less silly than having to wait ages for evolution and when you finally get it, your basically useless since your a Young T2 when the time and action should have left you at Mature or even Elite T2, but the lack of slots cucked you over.

+1 I really hate waiting to evolve and when I do decide to upgrade, I have to wait even longer.

+1 but there should be a limit to over-evolution stacking, so a runner can't suddenly become an ancient crush or rav in seconds, like twice the capacity of the current evolution, like if you need 500 to evolve, you should have 1000 capacity

That is part of the suggestion; making it so you only get 1 progress per 2 ticks instead of the current 1:1 ratio we have as part of the balancing act (except for larvae).

I don't know, I still don't like it and if a Xeno isn't maturing or evolving as soon as it can, that is the choice it has to make. Imagine just hunters staying young forever as "backup crushers". Mature Crusher dies, five seconds pass and that young hunter is now a Mature crusher approaching Elite.
