Anekcahap Volkov's Command Application
Byond ID: Mizolo
Player name you use the most: Anekcahap Volkov (but almost half the time I play xeno, so you may not have seen me much)
Make a list of links to all of your applications and (job)ban appeals, including whitelist and staff apps, within the last year. Also, provide "Ban reason; Verdict" beside each (job)ban link:
viewtopic.php?f=127&t=11497 Predator application
EORG; 3 hour ban
2 warnings on CL for self-antag; Given a chance both times because I was new, and I was known as John Lyon then.
Do you understand that any player - even donors or staff members - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our Server Rules or Roleplay Guidelines?
Yes, Yes I do.
Why should you be whitelisted?
I think i'd communicate more with the marines than other CO's and BO's, I also think i'd perform better by doing this. I would also expect more of my marines and keep things moving on a mass scale, moving squads around with as much speed as possible, keeping things moving around and confusing the enemy. I would also Like to keep pressure on whatever we are facing, whether it be the Xenomorphs, or some other threat. I would also execute a "gentle but FIRM" policy, if you think your idea is better than mine, I would like to hear it, but just simply defying my orders and following your own without my permission is not acceptable, but I can't be expected to do all the thinking in the corp.

-1 I have no idea who your character is, what your command style is. Plus when I see multiple bans for grief that makes me real nervous.
Relax like Redax. "The fucking stupidest thing ever said by an SL"

That's ok, I prefer to play xeno, and I kind of changed my name about a month ago, when i've been on for about 2 months, only my forum account is kind of new.Nicredax wrote:-1 I have no idea who your character is, what your command style is. -1. Haven't seen you play squad leader or bridge officer.
Your character has a nice and funny charm while trying to maintain an Russian accent, I kinda want to give this an +1 just to see how it would happen in practice, just to see an CO speaking broken russian english. But what I seen you play, I have yet seen you taking charge of an squad of marines, which is the basic foundation of being a future CO. Suggest try playing SL or BO for a week or two and see what people think about you.

The last couple of rounds on 3/22/17 during that week I have played SL, but ok. I also like to play queen.Katsukai wrote:-1. Haven't seen you play squad leader or bridge officer.

Never seen you before. If I have it's just your BYOND key; not your IC. Which means it either on here or OOC staff PMs.

I'll remain neutral, I haven't seen you play a lot of command roles but I have once seen you as a SL, you did pretty good... but again... you barely play any in a Command or Sub-Command position that much...

Not sure who you are, you've been around for 3 months and you don't seem much active on the Forums, And I've never seen you in any Command position.
Neutral
No
Re-reading your application for the third time...I read it last night, and your reason for whitelisting was bare bones, and now it's just...cookie cutter to the average commander to be honest.
Also, saw you blow up in the Minichat about other people being whitelisted who've not been here as long as you or played as long as you...sounded entitled.
Also, went and read your Predator App. IMO, it feels like you made a forums account just to apply for roles, and the Pred app itself felt cookie cutter.

Just went to check... and I agrees. I means if you want feedback you can always ask somebody who have good commanding knowledge! For my feedback toward you... just be a little more active and be careful what you are doing as a player and Leadership roles...CrimsonAerospace wrote:Not sure who you are, you've been around for 3 months and you don't seem much active on the Forums, And I've never seen you in any Command position.

Indeed, acquiring intel on a role is vital to doing it well. I'd recommend becoming more active, really thinking up a gimmick or story for your Character, and coming back to try it again.XenonDragneel wrote:Just went to check... and I agrees. Re: Anekcahap Volkov's Command Application
You see, the problem with this Gimmick, it's not good, it's really bad, it's like, how would you become the COMMANDER of a fucking USCM, Ship. When you can't even speak english yourself, properly, it doesn't make any actual sense. Also, applying an accent to your actual speech in game, is not good, like at all, like seriously, it makes me want to cringe IRL. Sorry, but -1.

We have a good CO who do that, it doesn't matter if they add accent as long if they make sense.shyshadow wrote:You see, the problem with this Gimmick, it's not good, it's really bad, it's like, how would you become the COMMANDER of a fucking USCM, Ship. Re: Anekcahap Volkov's Command Application
I'm going to pre-deny this, because of your freakout in Mchat.
