Bug Description:
Infected marines that suicide can get Defibbed and become immune to huggers

Steps to reproduce:
1. Get infected.
2. Kill yourself like a bitch.
3. Get defibbed
4. Watch as xenos can no longer hug you.

I believe that this also occurs if you bleed out while infected, and are then defibbed, as one round after being captured, my body was found and I was defibbed after being dead for roughly 3 minutes. I was thoroughly infected and had been in the nest for a fair while but my wounds got the better of me. After that I just never seemed to burst.

I had a round similar, except been dehib 20 times due dying for having no blood and finally put into a stasis bag, didn't burst for an hour or so.

Can confirm, i've blown my brains out a couple of times only to be revived and heading back to the planet later and Xeno's just trying to hugger me again to no avail.

Yeahh. I did this once when I was infected and about to die. I've defibbed people who suicided before and by using the hypothesis that dying prevents you from bursting, using defibs would negate the process entirely.

Technically someone could exploit this, by getting infected then killing himself and asking for no surgery and become immune to hugger combat rest of the game.

That can be fixed with the old toxins. Hehe... keep it. We need to punish the smartasses for thinking the coward's way out will save them.

Maybe they could implement having a dead embryo inside of you will rot and generate toxins in time if not removed?

Bump. Can confirm an infected marine who gets defibbed becomes immune to huggers. Ahealing doesn't uninfect them too. Probably needs surgery to remove the dead larva for it to work.

Already fixed. Can't defib suicided marines, and xeno embryo survive in dead humans until they are no longer defibbable.
