The Iron Bears were a Russian special forces unit, so powerful and so drunk they could use the emergency response channels to influence a marine operation to board the Sulaco, they could even keep the rounds they cared about from ending.
The Iron Bears are a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.
They became so powerful... the only thing they were afraid of was losing their power, which eventually, of course, they did. Unfortunately, they taught the xeno response team everything they knew, then the xeno response team killed them on the drop pod. Ironic. They could grief others but they couldn't save themselves from being griefed.

The shame was that i wanted to round up all the marines and have an order 66 moment where we all gunned them down, but the iron bears were too eager and just started shooting on sight after reinforcements arrived.
