Suggestion - Partial EoRG immunity for MPs

Post by mirkoloio » 11 Apr 2017, 11:10

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Make MPs excempt from the EoRG rule when arresting a criminal. Only when arresting a criminal within the bounds of the Law.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Will stop admins ruining perfectly fine and rule-abiding MPs rounds.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Exactly what it says on the tin. They should NOT be allowed to go on a arrest spree because of that. Just to conduct the arrest in process.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Change the rule.

It does not. As said, it gives them the opportunity to go trough with the arrest they were in the process of doing. And not having to lay down so the criminal can walk off as if nothing happened.

As mentioned above, this is only a one minute period of time. I am also, on principal, against exempting certain players from certain rules. The only exception to EORG is against antag, and I think that's how it needs to stay.

-1 as others have said, its only 1 minute.

this will also slow down round ending times because admins will have to check if said players with an MP etc.

What slc said, plus sometimes ahelps and such are being resolved when end of round happens; Any type of EORG generates annoying logs that would make investigation harder. Giving exceptions will just make it more work for the team; This on top of summer coming up soon, is going to make it harder to deal with end of round in general.
