Bug Description:
Quick Spit targets downed/infected players, it should only affect players that are currently standing, otherwise it is useless.
Steps to Reproduce:
- 1.Toggle Quick Spit On
- 2. Spit in a room full of downed marines with 1 non downed marine, pray RNGesus hits the non downed marine, watch as it doesn't.

Note: I've told Mitch to report the bug on forum as there was no developers to test on CM.

This has happened to many many times. I've done it as the praetorian. Nested marine behind me, group around the corner. I move in the doorway to spit and it hits the marine off behind me, allowing the group to just rush me.. I've had it happen every time I'm next to a nested marine (because its the closest target for the spit)

Hmmm, maybe we need a directional spit, or targeting spit system.

Yep it is quite a annoying issue as well as i've tried to spit at marines in breifing when we attacked the sulaco and instead sometimes the spit went behind to marines that were captured in the shuttle

I can't tell you how many times I have died to this XD
You about to nail that marine that is closest to the hive entrance, then you spit at a dead monkey behind you... And the marine is Xur >~<

Remove spit cooldown, Increase spit cost. Make it so that aliens spit directly in front of them. As such other servers have done this. And this applies to actual canon spitters who can hail acid-liquid on our friends, the colonial marines.

Another point i'll make is that the spit also doesn't factor in walls when spitting, meaning that i have spat at nested marines, in the shuttles, whilst attacking briefing.

Same really bloody annoying when trying to get marines in briefing then all of the sudden the spit goes behind me to the shuttle where a marine is in the shuttle in the nest in which i start to waste good plasma for the fight at hand

Here's what I'm looking at:
Decreasing Spit Cooldown
Increasing Spit Cost
Spit, being set to shift-click or ctrl-click, as well as targeted or quickspit.
Sound good?

Hmm, perhaps not shift, because that overrides the examine hotkey. Mouse 3 is also good, since virtually everyone has access to it and its rarely used.

I'm implementing a shift-click spit for the sential/spitter/praetorian.
It's currently the weakest neurotoxin, but I'll have it selectable in the future.
