FighterX2500's CO Application
Byond ID: FighterX2500
Player name you use the most: As commander I shall use Tsubasa Fujioka and Sorlevis Allenon.
Make a list of links to all of your applications and (job)ban appeals, including whitelist and staff apps, within the last year. Also, provide "Ban reason; Verdict" beside each (job)ban link:
N/A
Do you understand that any player - even donors or staff members - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our Server Rules or Roleplay Guidelines?
Of course.
Why should you be whitelisted?
I've started playing on Colonial Marines at February 2017
So, firstly and naturally I just want to play as Commander. I am playing occasionally as XO, BO or RO. Sometimes as SL.
Commander is one of the most important roles (The most important are marines themself, others are just supporting), and his job is to make sure that marines will succeed, either retreat and strike back.
That's all, I suppose.

I play quite a bit and I've seen your name maybe five times across five different rounds. Not enough to make a judgement about your role as a Commander or any other type of bridge staff. However, because your application is so desperately lacking in anything other than basic information I can only give it a -1.

This is not character dossier, I'll do my job as my character can. In cover of "commander's role" there are only differences that he is responsible for entire Sulaco.Skelton wrote:-1

So, what information you want? Tactics are usual (And most successful): Return Electricity, Secure Nexus, Secure Hydro. 3 squads are on recon\rush\etc, 1 squad at FoB. Maybe some experimental tactics in pincer movement while engaged in combat at river. Do not forget about Cargo Bay job.
So then you'll be fine, after that it is only marines fight capability you are dependent on.
And the most important thing - DISALLOW AP AMMO.

Weak -1
I've not seen this person around and therefore never seen their leadership, this would normally result in me giving a neutral standpoint and awaiting how they respond to questions on the app. However, partnered with the small size of the application and the fact you've said you only occasionally play as bridge staff over the 2 months that you've been playing CM, makes me have to give you a weak -1.
I wish you the best of luck with your application, and hopefully I'll be able to see how you lead at a later date.

I can't say that I've ever seen you in a commanding role often or that you've made an overall impression on me, I advise you take some time to get a little more well known before progressing on to CO.

You guys know him too badly.
You're a good guy and I'd be happy to see a commander.

-1. never seen you in game, your app is basic at best, from your replies you dont appear to take criticism well, and, as a direct quote, you plan to basically do what every other CO on the server has done.

-1 as others have said, I haven't seen you around. If you hop on this week, and prove you at least know what you are doing, I'll change it to a +1.

Re: FighterX2500's CO Application
No intention of being insulting, but our community is a bit different than regular SS13. Commander in generic SS13 can be any idiot who doesn't lose the disk. Commander for CM needs to be able to lead and control his troops and those below him. It's why we have a community vote.FighterX2500 wrote:I've been playing this "Space Station 13" for more than 5 years, that sounds insulting.
I expect this will get denied, but don't lose heart. Play a bit more and try to get better know with players so they know who you are and what you expect from you.

Re: FighterX2500's CO Application
Just because you know the normal tactical routine, it doesn't mean you are good leadership material.
For instance, how would you spend the first 15-20 minutes of any given round before briefing takes place? Do you try to communicate with your marines often? How good is your charisma?
CO is an important role, maybe not so much in a gameplay sense (since they really can't do a whole lot), but when it comes to providing morale support and guidance, they are second to none. Hence why people expect a lot out of COs if they arrive on deck.

Re: FighterX2500's CO Application
I will be neutral for now because i haven't seen you Ingame enough to see if you are fitted for the CO role, my vote will be decided in your answers.
1: A mutiny is taking place because the RO is only giving 1 attachment per marine, including SL and spec.
The marines are using lethals on MPs,murderboning, and you only have your CIC lockdown and your fellow SOs (BOs),the marines are about to break in,what would you do?
2: Another mutiny is taking place, the marines think you are really bad at leading, and blame you for their comrade deaths.
This time, you have only 2 SOs and 2 MPs (With lethals),you only have a few moments before the Marines break in and start bombing CIC,what would you do?
3: Your marines have been pushed off the planet, and the aliens decided to board, due to the casualties, the aliens Outnumber the marines, and the Almayer is full of chaos, the marines don't know what to do and are panicking, what would you do?

I play Sydney 'Lilly' Wood, the totally not depressed doctor, And the marine Dylan Bell, that probably joined the USCM by accident.

Going to be neutral in this, Seen you for some rounds as SL, but I don't really have any good points that stuck in my head, hopefully I'll get to see you play more often when I'm playing.
