Summary: Place one or two wall mounted radios into the CIC.
Benefits: In the rounds as a XO I found that if comms is down you need to physically leave the CIC and travel down the hall to find a radio to talk to the crew. I think the benefits of this suggestion is that it allows commanders to be more effective in communicating during emergencies.
