Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):The ability to make trenches with the shovel.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):The idea of this is to make a "safe" zone for the medics mostly while they heal the wounds from the marines and i believe it will help a lot in the FOB making.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):We could use it to avoid get hit by the spitters and/or boilers ,but we can't fire back. You can only enter using a stair or you can jump down like when we jump in a table , with a cd.

Re: Trenches for marines
-1 I feel if this was fleshed out more as to how it works and what you mean with it then perhaps I could jump onboard with the idea, though personally the way that I'm invisioning it from your explanation of it, just seems like a futile idea and I also think that making a trench which would require the map to be able to look like it's lowered incomparison to the land ahead of it that isn't trenched to look higher and it just seems like more hassle to arrange than it's worth idk. Though it's still a cool idea to suggest.

Re: Trenches for marines
If you put a marine and a xeno in a trench, it turns into a moshpit. Seriously the only way I can see this working is if you could dig underground tunnels on a separate z-level and make FOBs underground or something, otherwise you have my -1.

Re: Trenches for marines
Eventhough I'm certain this was already suggested a few times already. I don't think this will ever come true due to the fact that it feels and seems like a complicated mechanic to make into the game.
The closest thing we can get to a "trench" is making snow barricades in Ice Colony. Or for Big Red, sandbags which offers the same thing.

Also, a trench would be useless against enemies that use melee and CQC instead of shooting bullets, not to mention it would make your life worse, since you would take time to get out of the trench/foxhole. WHen you already got out the aliens sprinted and killed you.snypehunter07 wrote:Asking this to be locked
