[BIG RED] Lodges
So recently I have had a dilemma, where should I lodge on big red? Since the map is quite open and doesn't really have any good areas for us to lodge.
So far I have been using the vault (Thank you nubz for showing me that) but it seems the marines rush it every round now, so I have made this post for us to brainstorm lodge locations.

South west cave, research, south-east cave, dig it up, south-east collapsed construction (risky), engineering.
Those are relatively okay bets... Outside Viro being another viable option.

Right in a recent round I have tried out the mining lodge, and I gotta say it went pretty well.
the only bad thing was a few marines were around that area first drop, and it does get cut off if you are left of medical.

Red = False wall, extremely well hidden, like seriously you wouldn't have expected a thing.

Yea- Although I recommend you get some backup exit somehow and you'll be screaming if marines open the shutters for whatever reason.

you know, as a fresh predator... I never understood why we can't just return to the ship every now and then to drop off our things.
A lodge is nice and all, but often they do end up getting unwanted visitors. I still remember that one time back on Jungle when LZ2 was recently moved and marines were setting up an FoB at Robotics.. And the predators happened to set up in the old temple near the river, before it was moved further to the edge of the map.
It was one hell of a bloody battle, lots of action and insanity. And all because predators picked a bad spot to set up camp.
Is it required to set up a lodge every single time?

Required to setup a lodge, but you're allowed to return to the ship if required: Lodge is mostly there to have a planetside mean of defense / hold-out. I personally dislike the idea of the lodge since it incite guarding it 24/7, but I like the idea of ressource caches for non-pred tech.

New great location is Prison, break through the wall to the perma, enter alley from HoS/Detective office.

you know, with the new nerf to weed spread on Big Red, camping in the caves is a lot more viable.
Just slap on some wires and most xenos won't bother.. I think..
