B18 Armour Buff

Summary: The B18 Armor right now is a trash tier Specialist choice, my suggestion is to buff or add functionality to the B18 to make it a competitive choice. These suggestions are...

• Add B18 Armoured Boots - This will protect the feet of the wearer, thus ensuring 100% total body coverage
• Make Tricord autoinjectors recharge over time - The Tricord is a nice touch but it can be used up quickly, by allowing the armour to regenerate tricord over time this will alleviate another issue with the armour.
• Place a Gyroscopic Attachment in the B18 Crate - B18 is synonymous with Riot Shield, yet due to the nature of Specialists and their set up times, getting access to a Gyro can be difficult in higher pop rounds, a free attachment would be a major boon to the role.

Benefits: These changes would turn the B18 armour from a trash, C- Tier, Specialist equipment into making it a highly competitive choice alongside the three mainstay Spec equipment (Sniper, Smartgun, SADAR).

Any time someone sees a Spec using B18 usually results in everyone insulting the user for wasting their Spec slot on such as ineffective piece of equipment, and I find it a shame that a interesting concept is utterly useless in comparison to any other spec choice.

Overall, I agree with all of these, but you should divide them into different topics, since they are diff suggestions towards the same goal.

Also, I believe armored b18 boots are in the pipeline somewhere.

Armoured B18 boots have been in the pipeline for two years.

These are a overall group of suggestions that go towards the same goal, I think splitting them up would leave discussion fragmented.

All I want is the god damn boots! As for trico injectors, I wish they injected right into your bloodstream, not into an empty hand that you can accidentally drop. As for hugger immunity? In all honesty, sure. Xenos can still kill you with pounces and slashing fairly easily. Though with hugger combat being removed "Soon"(tm) i'm hesitant to suggest balancing regarding huggers.

Just give me the boots dammit.

+1 Haven't used B18 before but that'd make it very interesting and tempting to use.

I think buffing the B18 to make the user very, very, hard to kill is justifiable when you compare it to weapons like the Smartgun and SADAR. Taking a B18 is sacrificing a massive amount of raw offensive firepower.
