Description of the incident: I was a Engineer during a round of big red. We never got our supplies ground side. Most people would chuck this up to RO being incompetent, but I RP as a suspicious piece of shit jack off. So i feel somethings funny is going on. So i ask the RO for a gun with more kick and he states. "Idk RO did something with them haha" so I break in and find the RO bought a lot of black market weapons. I get arrested by MP's that's the end of that part of the story. As I and being dragged to the brig I tell my captors the MPs what RO was doing. Have a good bit of RP with Mctavish the MP about the corrupt RO, She takes the evidence and leaves to arrest the RO and CTs. So i start talking over my radio to my SL and SO on my radio to let me out or get my sentence reduced. During this time a marine in my squad who I have no attachment too and didn't even speak too once on the radio. You can see i only spoke to my SSGT and the SO Self antags and blows the brig doors and then hacks his way in. During this time I'm Rping through my headset and the marine walks in and falls asleep. I'm in the cell farthermost from the door i didn't see any of this. Next thing i know I'm knocked out and get the message. "ill deal with you after I deal with this guy" At this time I'm still in the brig at the farthermost cell. So I ask Mcfistrip did i do anything wrong and what was going on. He tells me that a marine hacked into the brig. At this point I'm still confused what this why this involves me. So I type sounds like an MP problem doesn't it? He then tells me the marine hacked in by blowing up the doors with C4 and self antaged to free me. I ask the McRipFist what I had done to be in a staff sit. He would only tell me I was the reason he did it. I calmly explained to him I hadn't broken any rules and that I didn't even tell the dude to Minge and self antag. Don't even know the dude who did it. After about 15 mins of sitting unconscious still not understanding the rules that I broke which I did not break any. I ask can I be left back to the RP since aliens were now on the ship. He tells me its my fault and he's to busy to deal with me when there are 5 other staff on currently. I say I understand and Ill just bring it to the forums and I wont bother him anymore. I thought that was the end of it. I suddenly wake up and he tells me "You happy? I'm writing this incident in your notes." not even 30 seconds later aliens swarmed the brig and killed me and the MP trying to wake me up so I sat out the rest of the round instead of RPing because some dumbass blew the doors to the brig. I wouldn't be writing this if it wasn't for the fact that I was threatened and cancelled the rest of my round for not breaking any server rules anything I did should have been handled by the MP I was already brigged with no gear I wasn't going anywhere. Even If he was super busy and the other staff couldn't help him, there was no reason to be rude to me. I'm sorry if I annoyed him with my total of 5 pm's, but I don't know whats going on. I was having fun with the LT's and the MP's so I'm going to ask a few questions when I'm forced to sit out the rest of the round for not breaking any server rules

The main thing is I wasn't asked to explain myself and I was not informed of the rule I broke if any. If he suspected that I meta gamed and told that marine by other means then IG chat that I had told the marine to self antag and start killing MP's then he should have gotten conformation from the suspect and then dealt with me, not leave me unable to enjoy the rest of the round because of a what if.

How you would punish the accused: Just better training and do not threaten someone with notes...there's no reason to be so rude.

owergaming is a style of interacting with games or game-like systems, particularly video games, boardgames, and role-playing games, with the aim of maximising progress towards a specific goal to the exclusion of other considerations such as storytelling, atmosphere and camaraderie. Powergaming includes, but is not limited to, performing actions outside your assigned job. Your skills or background DO NOT matter prior to the round - a standard marine with "a brother in Engineering" does not know how to hack an airlock.

How did I power game. I broke into engineering. MP's detained me. So guys I didn't know blew open a door. There's more to this and your not explaining anything. You posting my history here is kind of a jackass move, but most of this is from when i first started and none if it is that damning except for shooting that marine. Whats the point you could have just left your last note. Instead your bring up past transgressions i've already paid for I love staff shaming.

All I wanted to know was what rule I had broken, You DID NOT, or COULD not give me an answer. So I questioned why I was being punished for the "ACTIONS" of someone else. If you stated something along the lines of. "Hey, I'm investigating to see if your meta gaming or power gaming with this guy just give me sometime." Instead of what comes down to the basics of "I'm cleaning up the mess you MADE!" then we wouldn't be having this conversation right now.

Its not against server rules, If MPs felt I was disturbing the comms they can take my radio away anytime, they can also straight jacket me at anytime.

Officer wasn't there and the CT on duty said that while the RO had talked about selling black market guns they were no where to be seen. I heard that they may or may not have killed themselves but I couldn't remember the name nor had anyone reported it via ahelp.

2.Later on while dealing with a multitude of marines trying to play Russian roulette including a Doctor whom I did my best to keep in restraints while I was without cuffs, I found the doors to the brig both hacked to either close profusely or not open. I presumed this as being self-antaging by one of the 75+ marines aboard the Sulaco at the time and checked the Fingerprints via VV. Low and behold the marine responsible was outside your cell holding C4 that he used to blast his way into the Brig.

3.I posted your note history to show you what I knew about you outside of your constant PMing me while I tried to handle IC and OOC situations at once.

4. That note I gave you was literally just how I felt about your actions towards me. It allows other Staff to know how I was, or felt, I was treated while dealing with you.

Why didn't you just tell me that, I wouldn't have pmed you at all I thought someone else was handling the Russian roulette memes had no idea you were the MP. All I wanted to do was finish out the round. I cant read admin chat. I don't know what's going on and I don't know what your thinking. I felt as if I was being targeted for something I wasn't involved in. I'm sorry If annoyed you. All I wanted was information.

First off, you didn't even get banned for this.

Beyond that, the only thing I can see the Rip did wrong was handling a situation that he himself was involved in. He should have passed it to a different staff member. Beyond that, I see no issue.

You can't constantly scream over your squad channel about wanting someone to come get you out of the brig and then be surprised when someone does. The moderator in question asked you to stop PMing them so he could do his job and you continued, and he was unable to mute you due to being actively investigating you. In the future, when a staff member tells you to do something, you need to comply.
