If they had come up with the rest of the marine in the first wave they wouldve won, we were barely alive after beating back DS1.TheMaskedMan2 wrote:Nah, that was like 40 marines who defected and refused to go up and defend the Almayer, essentially delaying the round, so Apop made them go boom.

Well what I know is admittedly second hand because I got wiped out early with bravo that round and just rejoined as xeno.El Defaultio wrote:1: we were demanded at first to go up with no dropship

I don't mind him bombing us, but it was extremely justified to stay given the context and the fact that the commander told us to go die on the ground. So we did.
I mean that is more a problem with the way the dropships come down, if anything. You can't blame Xenos for taking a flank up to your ship, and if they do manage to capture an undefended shuttle then, well yeah. Why go through a heavily defended fortress of an fob when you can skip it and attack undefended hosts?Supermichael777 wrote:on the other hand xenos rushing for that shuttle to go up early while their was still a viable marine holdout is super shitty. it basically legitimizes a backdoor attack on the rasp and forces the fob to be at lz1 no matter what because you cant hold 2 positions effectively.
