Background:

Quincy Jones is the eldest son of Graham and Amelia Jones, financiers based out of the Pacific Northwest of the former United States. Quincy's early years were spent primarily with nursing staff and private tutors hired by his parents. For his undergraduate education, Quincy attended Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris. Although his undergraduate performance was middling due to a preoccupation with Parisian nightlife, family connections secured him a spot at John Hopkins University after graduation. In spite of past indicators, his tenure in medical school was an unqualified success with glowing reports from peers and professors alike.
Acquired communication reports indicate that after graduation, Quincy was slated to take up a post in a highly regarded bio-engineering firm. He disappeared three months after taking this position and turned up a year later as part of a U.N. aid mission in the Maghreb. Battlefield medicine appears to have suited Quincy as he soon sought out and was accepted for a surgical position with the USCM.
Personality/Strengths and Weaknesses:

Generally, Quincy is quite affable and easy going. He enjoys socializing with his colleagues whenever able, but tries not to let it interfere with his work. However, he does has a sarcastic streak and a thinly veiled distrust of authority that can often get him in trouble with higher-ups.
Deeply sentimental, Quincy cares very much for patients in his charge and will do everything in his power to see that they come out alright. Unfortunately, these attachments can leave him severely rattled when complications and death inevitably set in. Additionally, the few marksmanship courses he has completed indicate that there is definitely some room for improvement in combat situations.
