Hit registration is off
Bug Description:
A) Mob standing on the same tile as you get priorized over nearby mobs.
B) Mobs closer, but downed, get priorized over neaby clicked mobs.
Steps to reproduce:
1a. Rest and move shooter over rested target.
2a. Stand as a secondary target is nearby.
3a. Shoot a burst of bullets with an M4A1/SMG of your choice (Happened with PMC's version).
1b. Drag a target.
2b. Move back while pulling.
3b. Bullet has increased accuracy over dragged mob due to how it's closer & on a tile previously clicked.

CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

Re: Hit registration is off
If two people are standing on the same tile and one of them fires at something in the distance, their bullets will contact the other person on the same tile.
Second one... not sure, but I think it's when an STANDING alien and a DOWNED human share the same tile, and you fire at the standing alien, you'll hit the downed human.

If that's the second one, then I already tested it less than a month ago and couldn't reproduce it. See viewtopic.php?f=86&t=12027&p=135436

Re: Hit registration is off
First one: Exactly.
Second one: If you're dragging a marine, it occurs that the dragged target gets hit a lot more, but I figured it's because marines are OUTRIGHT RETARDED and aims for me while I move, so they click the downed marines.
So do please consider second as a resolved and first as a possible thing that would be rather detrimential.

Weird, I saw it occur a few times (3-4), but not being able to reproduce it... I guess it's a rare factor thing or I didn't get to see everything that was involved.

Experienced the first one yesterday with a marine standing a top a prone with a gyro buckshot shotgun.
Troublesome, as usual.

Yes. I also shot someone in this same position with a pulse rifle a month back by doing the same thing after they got tackled by a runner.phil235 wrote:with a marine standing on top of a prone one? And the standing one was shooting with the shotgun?

Nero may've nailed the issue better than I did actually. I think it's exactly that.
