Tell us about Apollo!

Were you lucky enough to see apollo in action in the rounds he was in? please tell us about it, i was on the planet at the time, and am quite curious about what we missed out on.

a synth character who was in the round just now. he apparently went bad on the ship and sent command into a panic, calling for a full retreat from the planet. i hope that if such synths are used in the future, it is in a capacity that is less disruptive to the flow of the round. all i got to see of him was smears of white on the floor, unfortunately.

Didn't see from the beginning, but I guess he allied with or created a predalien and a queen that was its muscle.

i think i remember the full retreat round, i was bravo lead and we thought it was pretty sketchy/stupid for us to full evac, we ended up being the only squad down there and we all got rushed and died.

Porter Thompson says "Bravo Squad says goodbye."

Apollo took bullets like a boss. Nothing much else to say - behaved exactly like you'd expect a robotic humanoid to behave. The only way he was killed (since he just absorbed bullets) was by a dropship landing on him.

First round I saw him in was playing as MP.

I was called to guard upper medical research. I was standing outside the door and periodically telling the curious doctors to disperse from one of the observation windows. As a new player to colonial Marines I didn't even realize that the tanks filled with facehuggers was out of the norm but it was spooky. Eventually the HoS and I were called in. At this point Apollo asked the liason if he had the best interest of W-Y in mind.

When the liason responded "yes" he was grabbed and appolo put a facehugger on him, later dragging him to the observation rooms. HoS freaked out and command didn't know what to do. When HoS finally decided Apollo needed to be brigged all hell broke loose. Command left while we tried to handcuff and stun Apollo. It was no use, he got up quick and easily broke any cuffs. He started throwing facehuggers like a dirty carrier. We managed to kill them before connecting but now he was loose on the ship.

I'm not sure of the specifics but I believe he was trapping people and infecting them. A few good alien players managed to burst out on the ship leading to the recall.

He was slippery as hell and hard to track down.

The highlight of that round was hearing glass being hit in Security. I thought he may have been breaking into the left areas.

When I finally got close I was shocked. Apollo had masterfully locked an MP into one of the rooms and removed her radio. It was sheer luck that I came by and was able to get her out and into medbay.

It inevitably led to a lose, but it was neat. The only bad part was once he went geurilla warfare it created way too much chaos on the ship.

My first experience with Apollo was when he sent missiles from the surface to blow the fuck out of the ship. I was a SO screaming at my squad to corner the fuck in the admin building, which only amounted to the SL and another marine getting shot to pieces in three different skirmishes.

When the aliens finally invaded there was little to no resistance and they kinda just walked the halls eating the remaining staff.
