Medical Appriciation Thread

Post by Nick123q23 » 18 Jun 2017, 20:41

Because we can't ever thank them enough inside the rounds.
Especially during Summer tide, when the veterans teach the new kids.

For the CMO, for every doctor, for every squad medic, for the men and women in command and requisitions keeping the front supplied with medicine, and for each and every marine who drags back the wounded and recently dead, we might not know who all of you are, and we might not recognize your name.

But we do recognize your deeds. Thank you for lessening the salt and for keeping marines in the game. Thank you for making the game enjoyable.

Thank you for playing with the hellspawn that is baymed.

Post good examples of Medical personnel and people helping them out here so we can all yell thank you at them. and they don't ragequit when they drown in corpses

Truth! To the other medics I've worked beside, pulling mangled bags of bloody uniform into the FOBand sending a mostly functional marine back out to keep the push going: You guys rock.
Doctors as well for getting us the tools the medics need, sometimes on the sly, and handeling those missing limbs and shattered bodies the medics cant.

A couple days ago I was part of a round with 8 competent medics, 3 of which were OCD medics. It was glorious.

In all honestly, I love the medical community for CM. Completely friendly and transparent. Instead of them being elitist pricks that keep their techniques secret, all of the medics I work with pretty much completely share their loadouts and methods without even needing to be asked. At the same time, the Doctors have been great working to make everyones lives as easy as possible, and smuggling us Peri and other drugs when Command gets belligerent. Working along side these nerds has just been a long month of self improvement and innovation. With medbay being open to medics, granting us the extra supplies that we need during crushing highpop rounds, new ideas have been springing up all the damn time.

I'm glad that all of what we've learned translated to a stronger medical presence overall, and I can't wait to see what gets come up with next (and CAN wait until medical is somehow eventually nerfed). If you be thinking of trying out the medical role, now is a damn good time to.

To the Doctors who get swarmed in a Platoon's worth of patients at round's end, and to the medics that waste all of their defib charges to laugh maniacally in Death's face as they have long since diagnosed themselves with PTSD.

I acknowledge and appreciate this thread.

It's great that medics and the medical staff are being appreciated, we've put hard and soul, blood and sweat, salt and pain to support and help the people around us. In the end...it is all worth it (no it's not).

I appreciate the combat medics who put up with the marines screaming for a medic 30 times a day

As someone who gets FF'd a lot, thanks guys, because you make it somewhat bearable to be a marine when I know I've got someone making sure I don't choke on my own blood, or have shrapnel bounce around in my brain.
