Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc): I was on my way to cryo because I needed to log and didn't want to just log off in a random spot. I knew that if I went in cryo and logged, it would allow someone else to take my job and my spot would be cleared. As I was about to go into cryo, I stabbed myself a few times and then went in. I didn't see the message from the staff member and just closed the game. Had I seen it, I would've responded and I apologize for not doing so.

I was really bored and I figured that it wasn't that much of an issue given that I was about to go into cryo. Does going into cryo damaged not allow for my job spot to be cleared? If so, I had no idea. My bad.

I was the staff who placed the job-ban. I was observing and looking around, when I noticed a medic in his underpants stabbing himself in cryo.

When I PMed you, it felt to me like you knew you got caught, then immediately hopped right back into the cryo pods and logged straight off to avoid explaining your actions. There was a full 30 seconds after my PM before you logged off, which looked awfully suspicious to me.

I honestly didn't see your message, but I understand why that would seem unlikely. I didn't really see anything wrong with stabbing myself before going into cryo, which is why I did it. Does that actually affect the job slot I was holding after I logged off?

It doesn't, as long as you didn't die before entering cryo. We have rules against suicide and logging off to prevent players from griefing and locking up important job slots for a good reason.

On the other hand, we're a Medium RP server, and you shouldn't stab yourself for no IC reason cause you're bored. You got the other player who saw you doing that really confused.

Gotcha. Well, I apologize for breaking rp rules, but all I was really focused on was making sure that I didn't mess up the job slot, which is why I thought I was job-banned.
