In that location, altogether with that floodlight, it blocks sentry gun effective fire almost completely. I suggest moving console behind floodlight, so it will be by left side of floodlight. This way sentry gun will have more space to shoot at, and and at the same time you still will be able to hide behind that floodlight & console.

This will make that little corner finally usable and people actually will visit it now.
