Command, Requesting Fire Mission!

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Communication between the pilots and command is a lot clearer, and pilots and have a easier time warning of critical patients or receiving a fire mission

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Awhile in the cockpit of the dropship the pilot has access to a clear line between the command channel and himself, it only effects the pilot and not Squad leaders or command officals on the dropship.

I'm not sure if this is possible but if Pilots were able to use comms while in-flight that would be super amazing.

+1 It would be nice but I think the problem is with the z levels which are a part of the baseline ss13 code.

+1 I hate missing out on getting people informed that I have wounded because I rushed to smash the fly button when I noticed the medics just loaded 20 dying marines on the shuttle floor while I was jerkin it on the other end of the shuttle, this would help quite a bit if its possible. Also helpful for fire missions and what not.

Perhaps a electronics pod that you can put in the back seat instead of the M56 would be a Tcomms transmitter that only turns on while in flight to keep it from overheating?

If this is at ALL possible, please make it so. I remember at one point, the dropship wasn't cut off from the world, and it DID have in flight radio.

yaaay! It would very much make fire missions more friendly to coordinate. Pilots would be able to say "Alamo on station for fire mission" and such. It would be a good step in avoiding that situation where aliens all flee a red dot and the bombardment just kills dirt.

The worst thing for a pilot to be is blind/deaf while flying. They need radio contact with their wingman and HQ. In CM, that equals communication on the command channel.
