This happened to me just a few minutes ago, I was hunting good game until I fought a Ravager, No, I didn't get my limbs sliced off or nothing like that, I got my mask taken off in one hit and then got tacklespammed for at least 10 minutes until the round ended, I never had a chance to get up since all tackles landed successfully. What the hell? This is a problem that's REALLY old, I don't know how it hasn't been fixed yet.
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that had suffered this thing.

Right now, if you're getting tacklespammed, just activate your bracer. You're not going to get out of it.

reminds me of the time a mature runner knocked off my mask in 1 hit, then decapped me in three more slashes while i was tackled. depressing.

Re: Preds are no muscle nerds.
I once got cornered by two young runners and beaten up... Runners man, they are mighty dangerous to deal with in tight hallways.
It seems the only way to fight a xeno without getting outright wrecked is to use a trap on them to slow them down, making them easier to hit and harder for them to escape. However, if it calls for help, chances are you are boned.
While I haven't experienced the ravager update as a pred yet, from what I heard it makes ravagers the ultimate predator killers, since they can take off their bracers with ease and make it impossible to blow your bracer, meaning you are forced to die in dishonor unless another pred comes to your aid... And even then, chances are that other pred won't be able to make it without getting swarmed itself.

An important update on the bracer thing. I think you can activate it if you pick it up with your non sliced off hand. I think, so you still have a chance.

But what about another predator's Bracer?ShortTemperedLeprechaun wrote:An important update on the bracer thing. I think you can activate it if you pick it up with your non sliced off hand. I think, so you still have a chance.
I never could figure out how to get them darn things to blow, is it like triggering a grenade? What if the bracer be still on their wrist?

To activate another hunter's bracer, grab them and click detonate.Renomaki wrote:But what about another predator's Bracer?

Be careful not to screw up and detonate yourself though.

Well, i've had my bracer sliced off, and i COULD NOT activate it even with my non missing hand, nor wear it. unless i'm missing something. So er, run away from ravs i guess, since a bad rng is basically gonna remove the majority of your abilities, and you won't get em back!
