History:

Reno was born to a small farming family back on Earth, where he spent a good chunk of his life surrounded by cowboys, fields of bustling crops, and shit... Lots and lots of shit. Naturally, as he would grow older, he would grow to hate his farm-boy lifestyle, tiring of the filth and unpleasant odors that tormented him, a man that stood out from his family of hicks and ranchers. He wanted a life in the city, where he could live a comfortable life in a nice apartment and work a job that didn't involve him breaking a sweat and shoveling any form of fecal matter. So, at the age of 20, he finally went out into the world and went to college hoping to earn a degree in business, which after 3 good years, he finally acquired it...

A shame at the time there was a minor economic depression, meaning finding work turned out to be more trouble than he had assumed for a man fresh out of college whose only work experience is in the field of hard labor. With growing debts and desperation, he eventually found himself forced to take on a dreadful job as a janitor for a minor Megacorporation, and before he knew it, he was shipped to a space station far, far away, where he would spend the next 8 years of his life doing what he so desperately wanted to get away from cleaning up after animals... And sometimes humans too.

Those 8 years were the longest years he ever had in his life, a world of horrible living conditions, dreadful co-workers, and monkies... He hated those monkies, and they hated him. And if it wasn't the monkies that were causing him issues, it was the station's local clown, who he swore never smiled once in all the time he known him. It seemed all he did was stare at him with his heavy, bitter eyes... And drink himself into a stupor and make more messes for Story to clean.

After so many years of being surrounded by assholes and not getting an ounce of respect for his low-paying job, Reno was just on the verge of a breakdown.. Until one particular day, he found an advert on the station's television that promoted the Colonial Marine Corps enlistment campaign. Normally, Reno would have never thought to take up such a deadly profession, but right now, he was desperate to get out of this dead-end job... He would be willing to take ANYTHING over his current career. And so, after finally quitting his job and returning to Earth, he went to the nearest enlistment office and applied for what he hoped would be a more meaningful career. Little did he realize that you can't quite expect the advertisements to match up accurately to reality...

After passing a number of medical tests to determine if he was fit and stable enough for the corps, he would spend many a month in boot camp, which quickly made him regret his life choices as he was forced to waddle about in the mud, eat questionable slop, and wash toilets with toothbrushes. However, it was either this or going back to his janitor job, and at least he felt somewhat safer at boot camp than on a space station full of angry monkies.

While he would get better and adapt over time, he was still a bit of a pussy despite being a farmboy. He was, after all, a city boy at heart, and also a bit on the soft side. This, of course, meant that he wasn't as strong as the rest of the Marines and would be reminded of his weakness and sissy-nature, earning him the fine title of "Weenie". Such a thing at first disheartened him, but as time would go on, it would instead go to drive him to work past his flaws and attempt to be the man that the USCM wanted him to be. By the time he had finally gotten out of boot camp, he was a completely different person... Mostly.

While he still was far from being the ideal marine, his time in boot camp made him a much more loyal, more worldly and a generally less wimpy man. He was finally ready to go out into the stars once more and make something of his life for once serving Mother Earth on the USCM's mission to protect her many colonies and keep the stars safe.

Then he was assigned to the Marine battalion of the USS Almayer and all of a sudden he realized that God was one hell of a troll...

Reno is 40 now, many years have passed since he first stepped foot aboard the Almayer for the first time and got to know her crazy crew of misfits. Despite the often strange misadventures they would go on in their mission to keep the colonies [mostly] safe and [hopefully] intact, Reno had grown into a brave, loyal and dutiful Marine who tries his best to do his job and not accidentally blow up anything or anyone important. He takes pride in his work and has grown to care for the majority of the troops on board...

... Shame he is still a virgin though...

Marine Relations: Reno has many friends, but to name a few, they would be Jools Kirby, Osalaa Wooki, Xurphorus Dergens and Vanechka Penkina. These are just a few of the many marines he has worked with and is friendly with, and he has no known hostile relationships or rivalries with anyone on deck... That is known, anyways.

Basic Appearance: A white man of short stature, who happens to be bald but does have a modest dark red beard upon his face.

Likes: Videogames, fine wines, cleanliness, a feeling of accomplishment.

Dislikes: Spiders, Monkies, incredibly filthy areas, feeling like a failure.

Strengths: His loyalty to the USCM keeps him from being easily corrupted, and also makes him a more lawful and respecting marine as well. He tries his best to obey orders and carry them out when requested, and can at times be modestly brave when needed.

Weaknesses: He sometimes can be easily taken advantage of due to his more caring and loyal nature. He also sometimes gets a little TOO brave and does incredibly stupid things that get him badly hurt, either out of a desire to protect his fellow Marines or when pushed past a breaking point where his normally level-headed nature is forgone in favor of stupid displays of courage and valor.

I made my way up to t-Fort with my shotgun, about north west of it I slipped on a peel, so I picked up my shotgun - but also the peel since I didn't think too much
