Bug Description:
The new alien emote cooldown is too long and interferes with automatic emotes, resulting in multiple unavoidable "STOP SPAMMING" lines in chat. So far this has happened both when charging repeatedly as a crusher and when being shot multiple times in general. It can throw me off too since I often rely on the roar in combat as an audible indicator that I started charging, and having it misfire half of the time causes me to mess up charges. It's also generally longer than it needs to be to prevent spamming, in my opinion.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Charge as a crusher.
2. Charge as a crusher again within 20 seconds or so.
3. Note the "STOP SPAMMING" lines which will repeatedly appear every time your roar attempts to trigger at maximum momentum.

Yes, but it triggers for emotes you get from being shot too. The hisses and the roars, and from the crusher reaching max momentum like in the post.apophis775 wrote:The cooldown is 10 seconds.

Re: Alien emote cooldown too long
A single second would probably be enough, surely? It's just to stop aliens from spamming dance ten times a second.

Re: Alien emote cooldown too long
even so, it is still too long to avoid interfering with injury and charging emotes in most situations, especially when charging in bullet swarmsapophis775 wrote:The cooldown is 10 seconds.
the dance chatline was removed so it doesn't even show up in the chat anymoreBronimin wrote:A single second would probably be enough, surely? It's just to stop aliens from spamming dance ten times a second.
