Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Praetorian sticky resin spit is very easy to lay down and very difficult to get rid of. If an alien team has a praetorian, hivelords and drones will usually forego laying their own sticky resin and screech at the praetorian to spit everywhere instead. I would propose that Praetorian resin is more fragile (each tile currenty requires 7 hits with a knife, reduce it to maybe 4) and immobilizes for less time because it is not as thick.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): This would give drones and hivelords a reason to keep pooping out sticky resin on main corridors even with a praetorian around and reduce marine salt when attacking into massive sticky resin fields.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Above
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): It would be coding, though probably not a lot.

Agree, that would make sense.

Honestly it should break in one or maybe two knife hits. It should be a short term deterrent not something you see entire xeno hives covered in.

Re: Praetorian Thin Sticky Resin
The most annoying thing about sticky resin for me is the fact that praes can constantly shit out huge amounts of it, while marines have to either not push through it and keep destroying it or push through it and move at a snail's pace while being easy pickings
