This is the delta alert message "ARES v3.2 [Almayer] states, "Attention! Delta security level reached! The station's self-destruct mechanism has been engaged. All crew are instructed to obey all instructions given by heads of staff. Any violations of these orders can be punished by death. This is not a drill" I acted on this message, a squad engineer was not following my orders to move a turret into the self destruct room right as the aliens were attacking so I followed what that message said and executed him for not following orders. When told about this jay justified it with "he was SSD" the player had gone SSD whilst I was ordering the execution, he even got back up and picked up his gun during the execution.

I won't give comment on the ban itself, but I will add that this was my response to an AHelp you sent about executions earlier in the round.



I informed Jay that you'd been told about this rule earlier in the round for his consideration when applying your punishment, and gave this exact screenshot when I had it available.

Decent amount of notes in the same vein in a relatively short amount of time. The ban was legitimate, especially so considering jaime informed you you weren't allowed to perform battlefield executions.

Yes so I didn't perform battlefield executions which can be performed at any level if the situation calls for it , this was code delta and the alert level literally says I can do that so I did it. Now that I know that the message isn't supposed to say that i'm not going to go around and execute people on delta but I don't see why I am being punished for this the message clearly states that.

The rules are pretty clear, only the Commander can battlefield execute.
