The M41A/2 battlerifle, is it OP or is it OP?

Last round before this post we gotten a few battlerifles. I in particular gotten one.
After the ays crashed into req I went from medbay to there with my webbing and armor fully loaded up with AP.
I progressed all the way below briefing, when a few highly upgraded tier 2 and 3s came in front of me. I decide to kill a hunter if I remember correctly, then a drone and a mature ravager, prettymuch Solo with a few marines way behind me. I gotten all the way into req where I went straight in the back of the dropship and killed several aliens including two praetorians in the time of about half a minute after which the aliens just evacuated to the east into the hallway above req including the queen. After I healed up some spit damage I ran straight towards cryo and went up north, killed a ravager and something other I dont remember what, again solo. After loading up my FOURTH magazine of ap I went above cryo, and saw the queen and a hivelord plus a prae to the west. I ran in, ugled the the queen and swarmed him with the whole mag prettymuch, and its dead. During the brief fight when i ran in after her as to make sure she couldn't escape (the hivelord and prae just abandoned her) the door behind me closed and she turned around and gotten in a single slash after which she instantly died hitting me with some burn damage. I ran back to cryo and healed the only major damage I took a bonebreak in my left arm. Soon after that a hunter apeared, dead. Then since I was very low on ammo and still plenty of ays to kill I ran back to charlie prep and revended my ammo. Fighting at this point was at bravo prep so I ran there, a bit of firing ensued then the server goofed and the round restarted because of memes.

So is the battlerifle OP or OP? Write your answers.

Well it IS a VERY rare weapon. No need to nerf realy, and if the user is idiotic he still is just as killable as any other marine, its just a marine with a way higher effective dps.

I believe the only map you can obtain this on is the Big Red armory or through ERTs

YES. Absolutely. Those things will decapitate you in just a few damn shots. This is why a Death Squad is a pain the ass to take out, they're equipped with gear designed to counter xenomorphs and resist the explosive impact of an M41A round (this was shown in Aliens : Civil War), those guns are a shining indicator you fucked up badly.

That's the sub machine gun variant, and they're ID locked. You can unload the magazines but there's nothing special inside them.

I think it has a very low chance in Wey-Yu crates too, but continuing on my previous reply: During the whole round except for the queen rush I never went completly alone, I always made sure that there was either a better target for the ays or I had plenty of marines with LOS on me.

It was some map, but I know that you can absolutely get the Battle Rifles on one of them, so if these are overpowered it could be a problem if these are present on the ground.

A good PMC officer is the turning point to whether or not marines win.

Its why people love PMC's. It is not the PMC standards, the specialist, or even the AT Sniper Rifle Spec in the PMC's that wins the game. Its good teamwork and the PMC Officer not dying early that wins it.

Ive killed Ancient T2's and Elite T3's EZ before, and if you put a charger on it...

Don't forget the M41A/2 is the standard issue weapon WY Commandos spawn with.

Afaik only the PMC Officer spawns with a M41A/2 and is the only way to find a M41A/2 sans a admin sending in Commandos or spawning M41A/2s on the map, for some reason.
