Ok so, this is less me trying to get an appeal and more just trying to figure out WHY i was banned in the first place. The events that happened involved me, the CL, filing a report to Weyland to fire the command staff, on account of them planning a pizza party instead of investigating the distress call. This resulted in one of the SOs asking if they were allowed to kill me, to which the XO allowed. This then resulted in Jameson Price coming at me with a machete, which resulted in me attacking him because he CAME AT ME WITH A MACHETE AND WAS WILLING TO KILL ME. This in turn lead to a chase though the maints, in which a marine attacked and killed me. I'm just somewhat confused here. I was attacked, defended myself (Please note that i did not even KILL Jameson), and then was killed by a marine, yet i get banned for it? I have included evidence of the XO and SOs comments. If defending myself like this counts as self-antagging, i'd like to know, considering that my actions were clearly self-defense.

The Marine who was attempting to attack me? I only shot him first because he was clearly TRYING to attack me anyways. Also, if it was for 'fail rp' could you mind putting that in the reason for the ban? I don't think 'Shot people as CL at round start' for stupid reasons', as you put it in the ban reason, really tells me that.

Alright, this seems clear enough with all the logs.
Command was trying to organize a pizza party (lrp is a hell of a drug), to which the CL reasonably protested (albeit with too much caps lock). Command, by this point, had gotten many of the marines on board of the pizza party, and organized a "boycott" of the CL, where the SO Jameson Price and a bunch of marines went to the CL office to harass Jace Smith, resulting in disarm spam from all parties involved.
The CL threatened the jobs of command for this subpar performance, sending a report to command. This happens:

So TLDR:
The XO and SO were incredibly lrp the entire round, ignoring their job for a stupid meme pizza party, attempted to kill the CL, but failed miserably. The CL defended herself from the SO, but gunned down a marine without provocation who was simply standing in her path.

My Recommendation (not what will actually happen):
Jace Smith: Leave the 24 hour ban on the CL for improper escalation, remove the jobban for attempting to keep some level of RP despite how fucking stupid command was.
XO and SO: Command jobbans for both for completely ignoring their job, RP guidelines, and attempting to murder the CL. Also SO for netspeak.
Barry 'Byeah' Boston: Byeah, he's pretty good for defending himself with a knife and still taking the CL to medbay.

I'd agree with Drie's recommendation on this. The sheer amount of clusterfuckery involver here amazes me. In fact, I can't believe there weren't player reports on this.

The CL seemed to be trying to do their job at the very least and maintain some level of RP, so I don't believe they should lose CL privileges.

I would actually advocate a 24 hour ban on the XO and SO as well as the jobbans, because this kind of behavior is absolutely ridiculous.
