"Mapping" bugs go here.

Post by Snypehunter007 » 16 Aug 2017, 18:19

Considering how we are sorta consolidating bugs and such, if anyone has mapping bugs, post them here.

I'll delete your post once it is fixed, not able to be replicated, or not a mapping bug.

I know why this is, but I cannot fix it ATM. Considering the firing range a temporary addition.

Also the windows in medbay and a few other places on Big Red are super strong, like ten times stronger than regular rwindows for some reason.

The left wooden door out of Anti-Freeze Bar north side can be walked through without being opened.

I've seen this, it's the left wooden door on the north part of the bar. It can be walked through even if the sprite is closed and you can't open/close it like you can to the other door. Don't remember if it blocks sight either.

On LV-624, a decent amount of the doors in the Research Dome can't be seen through, as a human atleast, even if they are open.
Seems to mostly just be the ones open by default.

Ice Colony had a strange power issue where despite all the wires being connected the APC just wasn't receiving power. Also the electrical storage on the colony doesn't have any power control electronics.

That was a joke; when the problem is that systemic/consistent it's obviously not an incompetent mapper forgetting his offsets on a couple of cams/wall mounts.

Bug Description:
On a first floor of Almayer corner walls are not matching eachother.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Get to Almayer at Big Red mission.
2. Get to T section of a corridor slighlty above Charlie prep rooms.
3. Pay attention to walls which are connected to shutters as shown on a pic (https://imgur.com/a/Eh0yF). They are supposed to be either both T-shaped or Г-shaped depending on a design.

There is a dark spot in the Req Office, aft-side, caused by a light on the starboard-side not being mirrored down there;
Requisitions Line 1 and 2 inner windoors are not restricted to cargo access.
