See that acid on the wall?
Don't do that.

If you acid an entire wall section away you are giving the marines several free firing lanes and stripping away the Xenos' cover.

Since Xenos are mostly CQC you are stripping cover they need to safely advance forward.

TD:LR Leave some walls behind when you Acid.

Another nice tip is as a boiler or spitter, or anything with acid. Stop melting flanks into the god damned Crashzone once ayys are on the almayer. I can't say how many times Ayys have lost because four marines did a simple flank on an abandoned wall that was melted down.

fixed it now you won't get shot to hell, and you can still move forward in multiple spots
